Beijing Arrival
Beijing - Upon your arrival in Beijing, our driver will greet you at the airport or train station with a welcome sign displaying your name and then transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore on your own (no guide service).

Ming Tombs (Ming Shishan Ling) - The Ming Tomb (Dingling) is one of the most frequently visited Ming Tombs in Beijing. It is the only one among the 13 Ming Tombs that has been officially excavated.
The Great Wall at Badaling - The Badaling section of the Great Wall is the most renowned and best-preserved part of the Chinese Ming Dynasty Great Wall. The mountain slopes are steep and the roads are winding, making it a significant military stronghold in ancient times. The wall resembles a powerful dragon winding through the mountain ranges. The hiking time on the Great Wall is approximately 2 hours. If hiking is too strenuous, a cable car is available as an optional service (at your own cost).
Beijing
Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - Tiananmen Square is the heart and symbol of Beijing and the largest city square in the world. This expansive square has been the site of numerous public celebrations, ceremonies, and demonstrations for over a century.
Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - The Forbidden City (closed every Monday) is one of the largest and most well-preserved wooden palace complexes. It served as the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1912). A total of 24 emperors from these two dynasties resided here.
Temple of Heaven - Located in the southern part of Beijing, the Temple of Heaven was a complex of sacrificial buildings where emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties prayed for peace and a good harvest.
Hutong Tour - Explore the local folk residences in Beijing’s Hutong Alley. You have the opportunity to take a rickshaw ride to explore the Hutong and observe the daily life of native Beijingers (at your own cost). With a local expert guide, you will discover a different side of the city, distinct from the major streets.
Beijing - Xi’an by High Speed Train
Beijing West Railway Station - A driver will pick you up from your hotel at around 05:30 and take you to catch the bullet train G89 (06:53-11:24) or a similar train to Xi’an. Upon arrival, you will be met by a Xi’an guide and driver at the Railway Station.
Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang) - The Xi’an Ancient City Wall is the most well-preserved and largest city wall in China. Built for military defense during the Ming Dynasty, it is about 650 years old. You can optionally ride a bike on the city wall.
Drum Tower Square - Visit Bell Tower & Drum Tower Square to get an exterior view of the Bell Tower and the Drum Tower. Finally, visit the Muslim Quarter, the most famous food street in Xi’an.
Muslim Quarter - Located in the center of Xi’an, the Muslim Quarter is a vibrant area with shopping malls, local food restaurants, and entertainment venues. It is a must-see spot for tourists, offering a unique historical atmosphere and diverse culture. You can optionally try some local snacks here.
Xi’an
The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - The Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, known as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” showcases an astonishing level of sculpture. Located 30 km east of Xi’an City, the original site was discovered by four local farmers while drilling a well in 1974. It has since become one of China’s most important attractions and the top site in Xi’an. The museum includes Pit 1 (the largest), Pit 2, Pit 3, and the exhibition hall of the chariots and horses.
Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta) - The Big Wild Goose Pagoda is a sacred site for worshiping Buddha. Originally built to house sutras and Buddha statues brought back from India by Xuanzang during the Tang Dynasty, the pagoda is now surrounded by a large garden where visitors can enjoy a pleasant walk.
Xi’an - Shanghai by High Speed Train
Xi’an - A driver will meet you in your hotel lobby at around 07:20 and escort you to the train station to catch the bullet train G362 (08:49-14:45) or a similar train to Shanghai.
The Bund - The Bund is one of Shanghai’s most famous landmarks. Located on the bank of the Huangpu River, it features 26 buildings of various architectural styles, including Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque, Classicism, and Renaissance, symbolizing Shanghai’s historical past.
Huangpu River - In the evening, enjoy a relaxing night cruise on the Huangpu River to take in the spectacular scenery along the banks. The river divides Shanghai into two parts, Pudong and Puxi. Cruising on the river offers an unparalleled view of the city’s skyline and an unforgettable travel experience. After the cruise, you will be escorted back to your hotel.
Shanghai Departure
Jade Buddha Temple - Your local tour guide will pick you up from the hotel lobby to start the day with a visit to the centuries-old Jade Buddha Temple. The temple was built to house two jade Buddha statues brought from Burma by a monk named Huigen.
Shanghai Museum (Shanghai Bowuguan) - Next, visit the Shanghai Museum at People’s Square. Established in 1952, the museum boasts a collection of over 120,000 rare cultural artifacts from the Old Stone Age to modern times. Note that the Shanghai Museum is closed every Monday.
Yuyuan Garden - Yuyuan Garden is a renowned classical garden originally built for Pan’s parents to provide them with a tranquil and happy place in their old age. Nearby is Yuyuan Market, a bustling marketplace set in an old Chinese neighborhood with traditional architecture and shops selling everything from local snacks to various souvenirs.
Shanghai - After the tour, your guide and driver will escort you to the airport or train station for your departure.
