Great Wall of China, layover from Beijing airport. - The Great Wall of China was incredible, the views and experience were amazing. Herbie and the driver were both professional and Herbie's knowledge and guided tour of the wall was fabulous! This made for an easy and great layover tour.

Best and easiest organization - We got to the airport with the idea to get a taxi to go and visit the Great Wall during our layover. Right outside the luggage pickup we found this company and Lisa made our experience way way better! They offered the trip to go and come back, the Great Wall entrance tickets, English guide, water, and even winter jackets since there were -10 degrees! The Great Wall is incredible and definitely a must do, thank you Lisa for being our guide!

Amazing layover at the Great Wall! - I took a tour with Beijing Layover tour during my 13 hours stopover in Beijing. It was amazing! Our tour Guide, Herbie, shared with us the story behind the Great Wall and some cultural background of China, making the experience more insightful. They are very organized (they even provide you with coat if you don’t have it with you!). They really take care of you. If you have a long stopover in Beijing, I would definitely recommend the a tour with them!

Great experience! - Beijing layover tours are amazing. Soo helpful, very responsive and were able to answer any question I had. They shared really useful information on how to get a visa, how to navigate out of the airport as it is quite large, to their meeting point. The tour itself was great - got to hear the history of the Great Wall of China from the tour guide and were made to feel comfortable on our journey there/ back and during. I’d highly recommend their services

Amazing - Absolutely loved this tour. We had a wonderful guide Lisa and driver ( I am so sorry I forgot his name - this is written in retrospect). They both brought us to the Great Wall and there where hardly any tourist when we arrived there. Honestly a must do stopover.

Love it! - Worth every penny! I met the guide inside the airport, everyone spoke English, were knowledgeable and the car was safe. It was really cold so the guide was ready with free jackets in the event you left your coat on the plane. You guide yourself up and through the wall but again very safe.I would book another tour with this group.

Fantastic Layover Tour - A friend and I wanted to make good use of the Layover time in Beijing. I looked on here to find a company and this one popped up. I spent some time communicating with Daniel Yan who was very nice and had good English. Even after we had a loss of communication before we had confirmed the tour (probably my fault), I was able to book the tour just a few weeks before with the same itinerary. We paid a deposit on paypal (50USD) even without a PayPal account and were sent a confirmation email and instructions on how to find our guide on the day. On the day, we ended up being slightly late (approx 30 mins) to meet our guide Herbie due to being confused by the immigration systems. We messaged the number given to us and met our guide at the location as promised who took us to our car. The car was very nice and clean and the driver seemed friendly and opened the door for me as I got in. There was a bottle of water and a big coat for us both. We were driven to the car park of the Great Wall and on the way Herbie was very chatty in the car and we asked him questions about where he was from and Chinese culture which he answered very well and showed a good level of English. There us a Subway and toilets located next to the car park My friend and I thought we would walk up to the Wall which would've taken approximately 30 minutes. In the end, we both decided we were better off taking the chair lift and then the toboggan type slide on the way down - looking back on it, we are so glad we chose to do that. I believe it was an extra 120 Chinese Yuan so approximately £14 or $18 USD each. Herbie paid for us and we paid him back when we got to the airport. As we arrived when the Wall had just opened, it was so quiet and peaceful going up on the chair lift. Furthermore, as it had snowed, the mountains behind us as we were going up were just beautiful. When we got to the Wall we walked in between the different towers and parts of the wall and going up and down a lot of stairs, which some are extremely steep so we were glad we hadn't walked up. Herbie was a fantastic guide and told us a lot of history about the Wall. Not only was Herbie a great tour guide, he was a great photographer too and took many photos of us and showed us the best locations to take the photos and was not afraid to give us direction for our poses ;). Before we left to come down, Herbie offered to order us a Subway to pick up when we got down, which was a very kind request. Before you get to the toboggan slide you do get a few locals trying to sell you things, but we walked past and it was fine We then went down the toboggan slide which was a lot of fun and easy to control. They do take a photo of you going down and you can buy this if you want ( we didn't). We were then driven back to the airport. At the aiport, Herbie helped me to use the cash point (it was in chinese) to withdraw the money that we owed. We managed to get the bus to our terminal and get through security etc on time. Overall, this was a fantastic tour that was well organised. Our highlights were the gorgeous snowy scenery, walking on the Wall, the friendly tour guide Herbie who was informative and funny, having a private tour with just us 2 at a very early time of the day with practically no one else around. Worth every penny, and definitely definitely an experience we will both never forget. Thank you to the company

A great disappointment - We had a layover in Beijing and we decided to take a tour to see the Great Wall. The opportunity to see the Great wall was amazing, but the guide wasn't informative at all. She said like 10 sentences on a bus and when we got there she got us tickets +plus she got us tickets for cable car (extra payment). Then she said come to this spot in 2 hours that was it. So honestly I don't see any reason to include information that there is a professional guide with a group. And I also don't think that price for this tour was reasonable, we paid 85$ each. The positive thing was that the pick up and the drop off was at the airport.
