Come hungry! - Our (my wife and I’s) guide was Charin. We had a fantastic experience. He’s easy to talk to, has an interesting background, and was very informative. He was helpful with food selection, catering to our tastes (spiciness), and accommodating anything else we needed. We did alter the trip agenda slightly after we talked to make a better experience and hit the best of the street vendors. Come hungry; there were only two of us and we had to cut back on the amount because we just couldn’t eat any more. We do have a great idea of what to look for when we’re in the markets now (and some things to avoid) - thank you Charin for that! I highly recommend this early on to get your bearings for the rest of your trip. We enjoyed it so much we booked a different trip and requested him again!

Great way to start a trip - Small private tour. The guide was fantastic and you could definitely tell she was passionate about the local community and culture. We learned a few tips about how to navigate the markets how to make the food experience safest.

Excellent food tasting - At the beginning, our tour guide was 15 minutes late. She finally got there as we were getting ready to leave. Later on, I found out that she tried to text me on WhatsApp, however, I didn’t have Internet connection at that moment, so I didn’t get her message. Then she started to take us to the closest night market and introduced us to some very famous dishes in Chiang Mai. The food was so delicious, we loved it. If you’re not a big eater, like us, I would recommend ordering just one dish between two persons. There was too much food, we really couldn’t eat anything towards the end. One drink was included, so I asked for coconut juice. It was really good. Then she brought us to the largest night market in Ching’s Mai, and also the flower market. We tasted the famous pork leg, pat Thai omelette, mango, sticky rice, Chiang Mai sausage (soooo delicious), some salad. The food was amazing! We were very full! The walkway is not flat, we had to watch out so that we don’t trip over something on the ground. Other than that, the tour was wonderful, I’m really glad we did that. At the end of the tour, she helped us to get a taxi back to our hotel.

Great experience - Namphat was a wonderful guide and very good at explaining history and culture as well as pointing out all the food we should try not on the food tour. Highly recommend!

Great Night Out! - We had the most wonderful time exploring Chiang Mai with our guide, Charin. He has lived an incredible life and we were lucky to spend the evening absorbing all of the knowledge and insight… and delicious food… he had to offer us. Would love to do it again when we return to this amazing city!

Excellent private tour with Naphat! - What a beautiful experience with Naphat, please request for her as your guide if possible! She is extremely kind, caring and has great taste. Her English is excellent and she is wonderful to be around. Looking forward to more tours with Naphat!

Was not sure what to expect. It went well - Street food tasting. We didn’t want to go too extreme from our western tastes and our guide helped with that for most of it. Was not sure what to expect. We sampled 4 of the 5 dishes offered in two areas of the city.

A great night out with delicious food - Really enjoyed this tour. Ate delicious food and learned a lot. Meals adjusted for our dietary needs.
