Crickets with that? - My group tour turned out to be only me, and Aim the guide. This was both good and bad; good that there was so much food, as servings were often intended for 2 or 4 people. And bad that there was so much food that I felt obliged to make an impression on, and peaked too soon! Aim was very knowledgeable about the origins and ingredients of dishes, as well as wider historical events that shaped what locals eat today. She was very personable and everything ran smoothly. Thank you, Aim, for an enjoyable few hours. Sorry if I was a little unadventurous!

A can't miss food tour! - We had such a great tour in Thailand! So many stops, so much delicious food. We chose to take the tour early in our stay so we could return to several of the food stalls later in the week. Learning some of the food history in Northern Thailand was fascinating! Some of the highlights were the ceramic pot roasted pork belly/chicken, grilled tilapia, mangosteen, slow cooked pork and rice, (with mustard greens), tapioca balls and the noodle dish at the end. I wish I wasn't so full so I couldn't enjoyed the last stop a bit more! WE enjoyed every single bite and appreciated the opportunity to be adventurous with the cricket, silk worm and water buffalo dishes. Surprisingly delicious!

Great, comprehensive local experience - Amazing experience, lots of knowledge from our host Moui, would highly recommend! Best part was the market experience trying tons of fruits, curries, sausages, and local delicacies!

10/10 recommend! - Usually when tours are ranked 5 stars I have a bit of hesitation. I went with my gut and this tour was 5 stars. Man was my gut full at the end! Delicious food and a very interesting history lesson. Could have even had less food? Our guide was wonderful, I'm sorry I forgot her name. As the kids say 10/10 recommend!

Best food tour I have been on - This tour went above and beyond my expectations and Moui was a great tour guide. She gave us knowledge, more than enough food and water, and made sure our group had an unforgettable experience. My group had 7 people who were quite satisfied and I know we all would highly recommend this tour!

The first thing you should do in Thailand! - The foods were amazing, the tour guide was very nice and extremely knowledgeable, and they take you to places most tourists would otherwise not go to! From cooked pork that melts in your mouth to deep fried crickets, the tour has it all! Definitely come prepared to eat as they are not kidding with the amount of meals they plan to have you eat haha.

Excellent tour; great guide - Amazing tour— all the stops were top notch, and they were local-filled places that we would likely not have gone to on our own. Our guide Kung was awesome. Highly recommended.

A Yummy Blast! - Nothing is more enjoyable than a great food tour. We just returned from a six week Southeast Asia journey and enjoyed several food tours. A Chef’s Tour in Chiangmai Mai did not disappoint and perhaps one of the best we experienced. No I was a wonderful guide and should be commended. She walked us through a “local” food market explaining Thai fruits, vegetables, meats and baked goods. Meanwhile, she collected items along the way for our dining pleasure. We passed on the crunchy bugs! Haha We loved the transportation aboard a red truck “songthaew” from restaurant stop to stop. We dined on multiple dishes explained by Noi at every location. Northern Thai cuisine was on full display during this four hour tour. Advise: Arrive Hungry!
