Join a small-group day expedition (fully inclusive) to the region of Chiang Rai, where you will explore numerous sights, from the contemporary design of the White Temple (Wat Rong Khun) to the historic remnants of the city of Chiang Saen (Wat Chedi Luang). Take a scenic ride on a long-tail boat along the Mekong River and marvel at the vantage point of the Golden Triangle. A Thai Set Lunch is also provided, as is two-way hotel conveyance from Chiang Mai.

Great tour with Pae - Pae is an excellent tour guide and we recommend any tours with him. He is very knowledgeable about the visited attractions and Thailand in general.
We would definitely do the tour again.

Great Tour! - Excellent tour experience! Our very small group made for a comfortable and spacious ride in the van, allowing for a more personalized and engaging experience. The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable, providing insightful information and answering all of our questions. The itinerary was well-paced, and we had plenty of opportunities to take in the sights without feeling too rushed. Provided lots of water so you never got dehydrated. Arrived at White temple before the crowds got too bad. Highly recommend!

2 Day Trip from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai - We did the 2 day, not the one day tour from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai with golden triangle etc. We were absolutely thrilled, the tour was super organized and our guide Tui was totally great! We're on the 5. Sometimes in Thailand and northern Thailand and learned so many new things through him and exchanged views about the culture. During this time we explored great locations, not only temples but also the Opium Museum on the golden triangle but also a tea plantation.
It was 2 super great days, thank you very much to Tui, the best tour guide ever :-)

The Golden Triangle Tour - We had a great experience. Our tour guide was awesome and very friendly, was supposed to be a small tour but we ended up on it alone. The van was very comfy.

We loved this tour & our guide, Tui!!! - I can’t say enough about this amazing tour!! We loved every aspect of it & the lunch provided at a local restaurant was NEXT LEVEL! Our guide was Tui & he spoke great English. He was extremely knowledgeable & we loved him. Highly recommend booking this tour!!

Tons of fun! - Our day trip to Chiang Rai was packed full of experiences highlighted by the humour, knowledge and positivity of our tour guide Pae. From being our tour guide and sharing numerous facts about Thailand and the province to acting as a personal photographer! This is definitely a must do when travelling to the northern part of Thailand.

A great journey between modern and past - Great experience with our very good guide Toi and the driver (we forgot his name but he did a great job). The tour combined the view of the stunning and modern White temple with important Thai history, including an ancient temple and the Golden Triangle. Toi gave us great info about the temples, the Buddhist and Thai traditions, the Golden Triangle and the commerce of Opium. It was a very long drive, but it was worth it. The places where we stopped for food and drinks were also very good.

Very long but worthwhile... - Very long but worthwhile day with an excellent informative guide. Kept us moving but didn’t feel too rushed. The white temple is the real highlight but other aspects were enjoyable and interesting as well. Really good meal part way through and comfortable transport with an experienced driver.
