Join a small-group day expedition (fully inclusive) to the region of Chiang Rai, where you will explore numerous sights, from the contemporary design of the White Temple (Wat Rong Khun) to the historic remnants of the city of Chiang Saen (Wat Chedi Luang). Take a scenic ride on a long-tail boat along the Mekong River and marvel at the vantage point of the Golden Triangle. A Thai Set Lunch is also provided, as is two-way hotel conveyance from Chiang Mai.

Great condensed travel day - Condensed day with a lot of driving, but includes all of the best experiences in the area. Nothing is redundant.

A long day, but a very worthwhile tour - This was a great day trip, but a very long one - about 13 hours. It was worth it to see all the things we saw. Aom was a very good guide. I loved the boat trip and being in the water between Thailand, Laos and Myanmar. The Opium Museum was interesting. I would have liked more time at the Hot Springs as there was a lot of good shopping opportunities with local jewellery etc. The White Temple was very interesting and a contrast to the many old temples we saw during our time in Thailand.

Highly recommended. Thank you - Female tour guide very friendly, explains many things and open to questions. Thank you! Driver very friendly too. Tour includes a stop in a cafe, with 1 drink per person included.

Enlightening & Excellent Experience - My mom and I went on the Chiang Rai day tour with Naphat. She was very knowledgeable and outgoing, sharing the history, architectural significance, and culture of our sites as well as her daily local life and her experience as a Buddhist nun. Naphat also gave us a background in Buddhist teachings and philosophy and spirituality, and I learned a lot!
Even though the tour originally included just the White Temple and Blue Temple, Naphat was flexible and let us squeeze in the Black House, Guan Yin Statue, and the Clock Tower (while driving past the Night bazaar), albeit for an extra fee. Our day was jam-packed, but we were able to do everything before sunset! On the way back to Chiang Mai, Naphat let the driver stop at a backpack store so I could buy a new bag, and then dropped us off at our next stop, the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar.
Overall, this was a fantastic day and great learning experience, and the tour was flexible enough to fit our needs. I highly recommend booking Naphat for your Thailand tours, especially if you want to learn about Buddhism and spirituality!

Great tour - It's a long day. But worth it. The white temple is amazing. The staff very knowledgeable and friendly.

Great day tripnto Chiang Rai - This was an amazing day. Our guid Joy was excellent. Great knowledge and font of information.
The tour was well planned and executed. We left on time and returned on time.

White and blue temple day trip from chiang mai - Our guide is very knowledgeable and friendly. She gave us a fantastic experiences visiting these 2 temples. The trip was long, over hours, but it is worth it.

Excellent tour to the White tempke. - It was a long day but seeing the White Temple was fantastic. The boat ride on the Mekong river was fun and fascinating seeing Laos and learning all about opium. Our guide was excellent. He was very knowledgeable There was ample bathroom breaks, plenty of water and a very delicious lunch. Highly recommend.
