Special insight into Buddhism - The tour group was just my husband and myself, we were truly blessed to have Tom as our guide, we learnt more about Buddhism on that one tour than I’d learnt in my many years on this planet. He really went above and beyond to accommodate our wishes.

Fantastic morning monk experience with Tom - What an incredible experience. We were picked up at our hostel by our tour guide Tom, and driven to the temple at 6 am. There were only three of us too so we got a private tour which was great. We took a tour of a temple, gave offerings to monks, Before having complimentary Khao Soi, a traditional meal here in chiang mai- as well as two more temples fit with a blessing from a monk and a nature trail walk. Tom was lovely with fantastic English and such an interesting life. He genuinely cared about his job and made us feel incredibly welcome and special to this religion. He was formally a monk so extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We all learned so much about buddhism and monks in an easy and interesting way, as people who have never really been interested much in religion, we have left feeling so enthusiastic about monks. He was incredibly passionate and energetic about chiang mai, monks and Buddhism, it was such a unique experience and a pleasure to learn from Tom!!! Thank you, from Tabitha, Olivia and Ella!!!! Highly recommend

The Gift of timelessness - The highlight of our stay in Chiand Mai TU was a wonderfully knowledable and attentive guide Perfect in every way from the private vehicle pick up, the stories and knowledge about the area, Buddhism and monks. The blessings, the chanting and the opportunity to offer meals to the monks was divine

A must do in Chiang Mai - Such an incredible experience made even better by our guide Tom. Tom was very insightful, and gave us a better understanding of monks as he used to be a monk for 26 years! On our way to the monastery we were blessed by monks on their morning walk for food. We got to experience the tranquility of a monastery at sunrise with the peaceful sounds of birds and waterfalls. Then was able to go to the temple and place a bell of our wishes after paying respects to the Buddha. We continued the day with insightful trips to where silver, silk and umbrellas are made. Along our travels Tom provided educational facts about the city, country, where we were going, any many more. An absolutely incredible day and can’t recommend high enough.

A must do - Our guide Tu was formerly a monk so really knowledgeable. His English is excellent and he answered all of our questions. We were the only people on our tour. The tour is the perfect length of time and the giving of the alms was something everyone should experience. We didn't get to see the Chiang Mai city views but that's our fault for coming during the burning season. People with mobility issues would be able to access everything except the Hidden Temple.

Enjoyable experience - First of all, a big thank you to our guide Tu who was exceptional, from pick-up to drop-off, he was able to give us a lot of information about the life of monks, the history of temples, Buddha, how the people in the village prepare food to offer to the monks, the way we should respect them, and so on. It was very informative and especially interesting. What a beautiful day! Thank you Tu for making this experience so enjoyable.

Very enjoyable trip - Lovely little trip I highly recommend. So peaceful being at the temple in the dark when few tourists were there, and wonderful seeing the sunrise over Chiang Mai. Learnt a lot about the lives of the monks living at the temple. Our tour guide Non was very knowledgeable having been a monk himself.

Thank you! - Ata was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide who went above and beyond! Very much enjoyed the sunrise at Doi Suthep (less crowded at this time) and alarms to monks + seeing two other beautiful temples and learning so much about local culture. Thank you Ata!
