Learning about agriculture was a high point of this tour. - I did lean a lot 1) agriculture of Thailand and water system 2) Buddha information and why the religion was important to guide. 3) Sticky Waterfalls was incredible Last, l was able to see things outside of the city. I am giving a five star review but I considered a four star as our guide was very hard to understand and he used Google translate and photos on his phone to communicate. He tried really hard. I did learn a lot tho when I could piece together his words. We only had three tourists so it was the drivers personal van vs a big van. I felt bad for the person sitting in the back. Overall, I do recommend if farming is interesting to you and understanding why they believe in Buddha. Sticky waterfalls was just the last hour of a very long day. Sticky waterfalls is a must but you could do that without the lake/dam boat tour and the Wat stop.

Great Tour - All stations are carefully selected and each one offers a great experience in its own right. Saman was a great guide and has a lot to say about nature, culture and history if you want. The temple is probably one of the most beautiful in Thailand. The boat tour on the mirror-smooth lake was relaxed, we also saw water buffalo. The sticky waterfalls are also a great experience. I highly recommend it.

Calm Morning and Fun Afternoon! - Sticky Waterfall Chiang Mai and Mae Ngat Boat Tour 12/17/24 Tour guide Saman was so informative, I wish I booked this tour as the first thing I did in Chiang Mai, Thailand. His knowledge of culture, crops and health (food as medicine) makes you more appreciative and aware of what we are seeing around us and the herbs used in cooking. Sure, you can just rent a moped and go places, but go hang out with Saman first. I was very lucky and had very nice weather... The boat tour was not crowded. It was so nice, cool temperatures, serene mountains, and still water. It felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. The Wat (Temple) we went to had several huge Buddhas. Saman provided interesting details that I now will notice everywhere I go! I forgot my scarf, so I rented a sarong at the Wat to cover my knees (20 THB +Refunable deposit of 100 THB). Sticky Waterfalls was a fun adventure! You only need shorts above the knee... No bathing suit necessary. No special water shoes were needed either. Just your feet. Fun times! Looking for a calm morning and fun afternoon? I highly recommend booking this tour with Wandersiam and Saman!

love the sticky waterfall!!! - This is a great tour! Especially the Sticky Waterfall is amazing! Our tour guide, Saman, was very helpful and explained a lot of things on the way and at the locations. Beautiful temple, the boat ride on the lake was nice, and the highlight was the Waterfall!!! Surprisingly, we were alone on the tour, I would have expected to be with at least 6 to 8 people, but we enjoyed it just the two of us. Would book with WanderSiam again! Joachim and Ute

I had a Great Time with WanderSiam! - I am glad I have chosen this package. At the Chedi Mae Krua Market, Mr. Samod, the guide (hope I got the name right) explained the various exotic foods/ingredients (you don't usually see these anyway) the local used in their cooking. At the Wat Ban Den, the guide knowledgeably explained the history/meaning behind the various Buddha sculptures. Personally, I find this is a more interesting temple to visit when compare with the others '"colored" temples. At the waterfall, the guide gave a run-down about the teak trees seen at the vicinity, the various laws the gov imposed on harvesting these woods. The transportation used; the minivan is the type with spacious seats. The guide leads you around to provide explanation instead of leaving you to explore yourself. Overall, it was a wonderful trip and thank you WanderSiam for a great time!

Chiang Mai 2024 day trip - We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip and would highly recommend tour guide - Saman Duangkham and driver. Samon was very informative and keen to share his love of the area. During the trip he looked after us extremely well, was very attentive to our needs during the excessively hot weather and showed great compassion. The trip itself was very varied, the lunch location idyllic and the boat trip and sticky waterfall walk so much fun. Thank you for a lovely and memorable day. Mary and Ruth, 🇬🇧.

Fun and laid-back day trip - I mainly booked this tour because I wanted to go to the sticky waterfalls, and that was really fun. But it was also great to visit some less touristy spots like the market and temple. The driver and my guide Saman were polite and helpful. The minivan was clean and comfortable. Lunch wasn’t included but we stopped at a reasonably priced restaurant for a good meal. The only point for improvement is that I would have liked a few more minutes in the market. It seemed we were in a bit of a rush. Overall a pleasant and relaxing day, thank you.

Great experience, great day - The guide was attentive, answered all our questions and expectations. He even offered to advance payment for the meal because we had a cash problem. It is very pleasant !! He bought some local products (bananas, etc.) to share with us. The driver was considerate (1p with a crutch) and drove carefully The excursions were carried out well, we were able to take our time on the activities In short, a great day experience
