- Idrijske Krnice 40a - In an underground fortress, we offer a tasting of Slovenian or international wines (based on the guest’s preference) paired with local food. All the food is sourced from nearby farms, including local cheeses, salami, and homemade bread. The tasting is conducted by a third-level sommelier.
We start with young cheeses and fresh wines selected by the sommelier. Following that, we sample mature and aged cheeses along with meat cuts, each paired with wines.
Throughout the tasting, we sample five different wines.

The magical plateau of Idrijske Krnice is surrounded by pristine nature at an altitude of 1000 m above sea level.
There are three underground forts on the property ‘’House On The Hill’’. The first fort is used for a sauna, the second fort is a wine tasting room, and the third should remain a secret.
The fortifications were made between the First and Second World Wars, built by the Italian army and they are part of the Alpine Wall.
