Excellent and knowledgeable guides - I did three tours with Lebanon Trips and Tours (Baalbek, Tyre/Sidon, and the Bsharri cedars) and all of them were phenomenal. I was particularly impressed by how knowledgeable and friendly the guides Hassan and Albert were, and how they specifically went out of their way to hire archaeologists as local guides in key sites like Baalbek and Tyre, which helped me get a LOT more out of my experience! Highly recommend going with them!

Don’t miss it! - Nice organized visit to Sidón (crusader castle, market, soap museum), Tyre (necropolis, race track and port), had a nice Lebanese lunch with fish and ended in Maghdouche. Visit was in a small van, picked up and dropped off at our hotel and Rita was a great guide!

Great visit to the Southern part of Lebanon - I have taken 4 day tours with Lebanon Tours and Travel and they have all been great! This one, to Tyre and Sidon, was a great opportunity to get outside of the city and visit the southern part of the country. Our guide, Hassane, was fantastic. He is very passionate about Lebanon, answered all of our questions about the country and was open to having deep conversations about its history and current events. We learned so much from him! As with all our trips with Lebanon Tours and Travel, the food was exceptional (one of the best we have had in a tour). Overall, a great experience!

History with a touch of heart. - What makes a good tour is the knowledge gained and the experiential sentiment afterward. For me, this was a particularly good one. It was incredible to see the ancient cities in Tyre and hear about its amazing history from some very knowledgeable tour guides. Questions were answered expertly and information was provided satisfactorily throughout the tours. At Sidon, apart from seeing the historical sites, the awesome tour guide Hassane took us around the city, through the souks, and along the lovely beaches. We also got to see an old soap-making factory turned museum and had a lovely lunch at a quaint little Lebanese seafood restaurant. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see the Lady of Maghdouche due to safety concerns in the area but overall, it was a great experience.

Loved it! - Susie and Nassar were amazing, she is filled with knowledge you learn so much from her , this tour is a must it’s so great to experience in Lebanon the history part of it

Good - A lot of historical places, if you are into that; do this trip! You get a lot of information. Transport was good and lunch perfect.

Fantastic Tour of Southern Lebanon - Every minute of this Tour because Alain is an amazing guide who is an archaeologist as well as a Tour Guide extraordinaire. The itinerary was superb. Ask for Alain . Great sites all the info you could want and much more besides 11/10

Great tour with an excellent guide - Used this company for 3 different day trips from Beirut and all of them was well organized, punctual and all-in-all very, very good. I made my booking directly with them and that also worked fine. As for the Sidon/Tyre trip, it was amazing our driver and our guide took very well care of us. My tour started with the crusaders castle in Sidon before going into the souk which also was interesting. There was a stop at the soap museum which actually was a positive surprise. A rather short but very informative guided tour where you can cool down from the heat outside and also find good toilets. A very smart, tactical decision to include this in the tour. Then you continue to Tyre where you will be guided around 2 different archaeological sites before having lunch, which in my case was at a nice fish restaurant where the group was served a setup of different Lebanese starters before the fish arrived. All very good. After that the tour returned to Beirut.

Perfect day visiting Tyre, Sidon & Maghdouche - Rita was amazing! She was so knowledgeable and so thorough when explaining the history of all the locations we visited. She explained it with such a sense of pride, that it makes you love visiting Lebanon even more. Thank you Tita for an amazing day exploring Southern Lebanon. And we can’t forget to mention Nasser, our drive. He was so calm driving through the crazy streets of Beirut and was lovely during the entire day! Thanks again Rita, Nasser & Lebanon Tours. Good tour to explore southern Lebanon - It was a nice tour with great guide. Good and healthy lunch, but restaurant has outdoor seating that not fully covered from sun, so don't forget sunscreen :) Also we haven't visited some places mentioned in itinerary: the old souk of Tyre, Basilica of Our Lady of Mantara and Khan al-Franj - and no information was given why. And the store in the soap museum was closed.
