Exceptional! Best part of our vacation. - Best part of our entire trip to Italy. Marco, our guide and driver was exceptional. He not only drove us but he also was so knowledgeable about local history. We had a wonderful time speaking and learning from him. He was exceptional and we are so happy he was our guide for the day. Our lunch at Corbucci Winery was wonderful and an experience we will never forget amidst the gorgeous Tuscan landscape.

Great day San Gimignano - Marco, was great. Knew the history of the area, he grew up in area and was very engaging in conversations. He was also willing to modify the tour to your liking, so you got to see what you wanted. Would recommend Marco to everyone.

Our Favorite Day in Tuscany! - Our favorite day in Florence! Simone was an absolutely wonderful tour guide! We were promptly picked up at 9:30. Spent approximately 2 hours in Siena. Had a wonderful lunch, wine tasting and cellar tour at Casa Emma with amazing and beautiful views. Ended in San Geminigno and totally enjoyed ourselves. I highly recommend this private tour for your small group!

Vino in Chianti, Molto Bene! - This happened to be a favorite tour of ours. The trip was exciting and the sights in towns were wonderful. Ofcourse the highlight was having lunch at Poggio Amarelli in Chianti. You must request this in advance. The wine, the food, the people. Molto Bene!! Siena and San Gimignano has plenty of shops. You just need to be quick about it as time does go by quickly. The drive is extensive, but so very worth it.

Super tour in Tuscany with Marco - We had a warm and sunny day in Tuscany today despite the cloud cover and non-stop drizzle. That’s because, even with the most rain and fog we’ve had on this early Fall trip, we had Marco Farinelli as our driver into the Tuscan hills — a courteous and very knowledgeable Florentine, who was able to navigate his comfortable van masterfully while answering the many questions peppered at him by four unyielding, curious Canadian women. As we drove into the damp, fog covered hills he told us everything we wanted to know about Florence and Tuscany, from the roots of olive production to the top 13th century wine-making families. (And on our trip so far it’s been the local tour guides who have made our visits so memorable.) Due to the rain we took the option of shorter visits in Siena (the Basilica Cateriniana San Domenico, a must-see) and the walled hill town of San Gimignano (noted as a world heritage site with its old town centers and tall towers.) In between shaking out our umbrellas, we had a warm family winery welcome and private farm-style lunch, an added option, set up by Marco to give more of a backroads authentic Tuscan experience. At this winery noted for quality, sustainable production, sample pours were served of seven Tuscan wines, from a Sangiovese Brut to a rare Super Tuscan with bold shoulders, inviting aromas, and smooth lingering flavours. And aside from the wine, the balsamic and olive oil were sublime. We stayed as long as we liked, never rushed between courses. After our last adventure, Marco wound us safely back to our hotel in the busy centre of Firenze. Gracie Mille Marco. We highly recommend your driving and your amazing travel expertise!!

Perfect day in Tuscany! - We had an amazing day in Tuscany…our driver Massimo was professional, very informative and plesant!! He drove us to Sienna, we were left to explore and then picked us up and took us to a beautiful vineyard where we tasted wine and had lunch. He then drove us to San Giamanno and returned us to our hotel in Firenze. Highly recommend!

Not a Tour - Just a Private Ride - You need to know in advance that this is not a tour, it's simply a driver who takes you to the locations. If you are expecting any insight or guidance about the locations or during the drive it is not for you. You are dropped off at Siena and San Gimignano to find your way around. Both locations were packed in October. The optional lunch at the winery was fun and a nice experience although pricey at 50 euro pp. I thought the trip in total was very pricey given it was just a private ride. You would do as well and cheaper on a big bus.
