A day at the mountain towns of Montepulciano and Pienza - The rolling hills, charming streets, and panoramic views in these two Tuscan towns made it feel like a scene from a post card. I would suggest to change the name of the tour to "From Siena: Pienza and Montepulciano with Wine Tasting Tour" because it's more of touring the 2 towns than wine tasting.

Mountain Towns - These two prominent mountain towns were an incredible experience. The guides did a good job setting it up and getting us there. Just the right amount of free time. The large production winery was unimpressive. I prefer small family production wineries.

Beautiful scenery! - The trip went exactly as planned. Our tour guide and his assistant were knowledgeable and gave us helpful information.

Recommded tour! - The wine tour was great, very professional and with the traditional wooden barrels, the knowledge extensive and tastings generous. The towns we visited gorgeous. Luciano and Alexio were great guide and driver, very knowledgeable and friendly. Would do another tour with them any day.

A winery and two towns! - Best: The beautiful Tuscany countryside-took lots of memory making photos. Learning more about the art and craft of winemaking at a beautiful Winery. Didn’t realize that “time on your own” in Montepulciano and Pienza meant just that-no guidance as to how to make the most of our time. The tour was touted as 9:45 AM-9:15PM. But we were back to Siena by 5:30 PM. Apparently the tour started with one couple being picked up in Florence, then the 5 of us in Siena at 9:30 AM. Still doesn’t account for the almost 4 hours earlier than expected that the tour ended. Maybe just typos?

No frills way to add more towns to your Tuscan Adventure - You get what you pay for. One wine tasting stop. Crackers were the “snack”. Would have preferred a family owned vineyard but the one we went to was larger and could accommodate 18 people better. Would have been nice to have something in hand about the stops we made since there wasn’t a guide with us while we were walking around. Pienza would have been ideal to have a cheese tasting. The shop we went into was not very accommodating and didn’t want to host the tourist by letting them taste the cheese at leisure. The tour guide and bus driver were very nice and it was a great way to see two more towns in one day. Just a bit underwhelming in the delivery.

Not great - Signed up for a minibus tour six months ago. Ended up on a full tour bus. Stopped at one winery.the entire day. “Snacks” were a packet of saltine crackers. I guess I misread the description? Enjoyed the other people on the bus and the towns were beautiful. Expected more from Viator.

Great way to experience the Tuscan countryside without renting a car - Great way to see the Tuscan countryside without renting a car. Tour guide was not good and spent most of the time talking with the bus driver instead of being available to answer questions about surroundings. The bus driver was honking and yelling at another driver from a car before we even left the parking lot ( the bus was 1/2 hour late to arrive also)! The the driver was talking on the phone or to the tour guide the entire trip. Also the bus died on the expressway but the driver was able to get it going again quickly. The time allowed to visit pienza and montepulciano was good and we got a lot of great view of the countryside. The winery stop was okay but the wine-4 samples -was wonderful.

Disappointing - Terrible the guild could speak very simple English and could not understand her at all. The group was way to big so we could not hear anything the wine operators was talking about. Not worth the money at all.

Not recommended - They cancelled our trip the day before even after being payed and confirmed because they didn't have more reservations. Destroying our day on the toscana. A total shame
