In this authentic family farm, Silvia (the owner) will prepare for you an exquisite lunch while your guide will show you the farm. You will learn the history of the cellar that date back to the 1825 and how they make wine, extra virgin olive oil and honey. During lunch you will taste 4 wines, grappa and their amazing production of extra virgin olive oil all pared with home made pasta, bruschettas, cold cuts and last but not least home made biscotti.

Harvest has traditionally been a period of jubilation in rural areas: The strenuous efforts, cultivation, and sacrifices finally bear fruit with the growth of grapes and exciting wine production season. Grapes would be crushed to extract the initial juice essential for wine brewing. The day would climax with luxurious feasts around the table, while the younger ones reveled in the pervasive joy in the surroundings. Mechanization was yet to be introduced, and grape pressing was a task for whole families, using their own feet to press the grapes in enormous wooden containers, resulting in a great outcome, as gentle foot-pressing doesn’t cause stress to the grapes. This journey is highly suggested for those desiring an exceptional experience, while absorbing the authentic Tuscan rural lifestyle. A winery tour with wine sampling is part of the package; depending on the season, guests can either pick grapes or manually press grapes previously supplied by us.
