It was really great! - The itinerary didn't match with what we actually did. We went to Sirena Station instead of San Padrillo. The boat was 2 hours which was quite long but the day was really great! We saw many animals and the walk in the jungle was beautiful. The boat trip back was 2,5 hours. So be aware that you be on the boat for 4,5 hours.

Daytrip to Corcovado from Sierpe, also compared to the trip from Drake Bay to Sirena - We have done the day trip to Corcovado from Sierpe . It was amazing, we have seen so many animals, including a croco and dolphins at the ocean. Our guide explained a lot and was super motivated to show us as much as possible. I have done a similar trip from Drake Bay to Sirena before. For that trip it was necessary to stay in Drake Bay the night before and afterwards. The main difference is that you have a longer boat ride at the ocean and you take another Entrance to Corcovado National Park. Now I can say, especially when you don't have a lot of time, I can definitely recommend the trip from Sierpe to San Pedrillo for a day because it is just one day and I have seen at least the same amount of animals and had also a wonderful experience.

Another beautiful part of Costa Rica where the jungle meets the beach! - My best friend and her husband and my daughter and I took this day trip from Sierpe to Corcovado and it was a full day of adventure. The weather was absolutely perfect and our tour guide pointed out several animals and was able to help us get great pictures with his monocular scope. I highly recommend it!

Great trip to Corcovado National Park - Our guide Jose was great at finding animals, we saw squirrel and spider monkeys, sloth, and many birds including a trogon and many macaws plus a crocodile. The boat rides were fun and sometimes exciting, especially going out onto the ocean. I would highly recommend taking a reusable water bottle since hiking in the hot and humid jungle requires lots of water.

Don't miss this experience from Sierpe - We left Sierpe by boat for 40 minutes of mangrove and 40 minutes at sea to reach the oparc guard post (excellent!) Then, in a small group (6 people) we followed Rebecca, our guide, into the park for 3 hours of observation and 7km on foot, then lunch and another short hour of walking...Finally, return by boat by the sea and the mangrove...Great We saw a lot of animals, monkeys, birds, agoutis, spiders, sloths, anteaters but no pumas or ocelots (normal, they don't show themselves and tend to come out in the evening or in the morning) Absolutely magical experience from Sierpe

Unforgettable day trip! - Unforgettable day trip! Beautiful boat trip and beautiful trails in an idyllic place. Our guide Maikol is very friendly, is good at spotting animals and gives an interesting explanation of everything. This one is highly recommended. No, bring enough water and a snack, lunch is only at the end of the walks.

Uninspiring - Thought this was going to be the highlight of our trip but it was actually mediocre. We didn't find out until half way around the 3hr hike that the tour we booked was closed due to fallen trees. We aldo didn't know until a couple of days before that plastic water bottles were not allowed in the park although rangers were not very thorough. I would suggest saving your money on this trip and taking a mangrove tour at sierpe which was wonderful

A little disappointing - Just finished this tour which was supposed to be a highlight of our trip. The cruise through the Mangroves is more of a speed dash to get there and back again. We were hoping the Boats were as good as those used in Uvita but no, they were smaller and less comfortable. They are fine speeding along the Sierpe river but not so good on the open sea. We thought thet were were hiking to the waterfall but some way into the Hike we asked our guide and discovered the waterfall path is closed due to fallen trees. We also found far more tourist here than any other park we have been to in Costa Rica. Wildlife spotting was fine but no better than Monteverde or Tenorio so not sure the long day and $170 cost were worth it. Met some nice people on our tour which made for a pleasant day.
