Day 1 : Pick up & Drive to Sigiriya Lion’s Rock / Elephant Safari in Habarana (Overnight Stay in Sigiriya)

Sigiriya was built by the fifth-century king Kashyapa I, who ruled the native Sinhalese dynasty, the Moriya. The imposing fortress was the capital of the Sinhalese kingdom until Kashyapa was defeated in A.D. 495.
The ancient palace is located on top of the rock, surrounded by beautiful gardens and water pools and the technology used to build the palace is still a mystery.
Sigiriya Museum - The museum is very educational which gives great background information. It depicts photograph galleries of excavations that took place in the Sigiriya fortress rock. Each gallery will give you a splendid exposure to explore the cultural heritage of Sigiriya rock.
The museum was designed around the giant trees, and the museum is a classic example of Sri Lankan green building technology. The museum is also circled from natural water springs. The museum comprises of 3 levels. It is designed according to standards existing in the rock.
Hurulu Eco Park - Hurulu Eco Park Wildlife Safari gives you a wonderful safari experience in a famous Elephant Paradise in Sri Lanka! Hurulu Forest Reserve of Sri Lanka was designated as a biosphere reserve in January 1977.

Day 2 : Pidurangala and Dambulla and drive to Kandy (Overnight Stay in Kandy)
Pidurangala Rock - Hiking Pidurangala Rock should definitely be on your bucket list when in Sri Lanka. A Buddhist temple at the entrance, and when you’re almost at the top of the rock a shallow cave temple with a beautiful 12.5-meter-long statue of a reclining Buddha statue. When you’re at the top of Pidurangala you can enjoy the incredible view over the jungle and Sigiriya Rock.
Dambulla Royal Cave Temple - Dambulla cave temple also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla is a World Heritage Site in Sri Lanka, situated in the central part of the country. A sacred pilgrimage site for 22 centuries, this cave monastery, with its five sanctuaries, is the largest, best-preserved cave-temple complex in Sri Lanka. The Buddhist mural paintings are of particular importance, as are the 157 statues.

Royal Botanical Gardens - Royal Botanic Gardens located in Peradeniya is about 5.5 km to the west of the city of Kandy in Sri Lanka. This garden comprises of thousands of plants and rich with scenic gardens with breathtaking views lies in the Hanthana biodiversity area. It is near the Mahaweli River. It is renowned for its collection of orchids.

Kandy Lake - Kandy Lake, also known as Kiri Muhuda or the Sea of Milk, was built in 1807 by King Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe next to the Temple of the Tooth. Over the years, it was reduced in size. It is a protected lake, with fishing banned. The lake adds scenic beauty and cool atmosphere to the Kandy city which is mainly built around the lake.
Ramboda Waterfall - Ramboda Falls is 109 m high and the eleventh tallest waterfall in Sri Lanka and the 729th tallest waterfall in the world.
