• Minneriya - Known to be the largest gathering of Asian Elephants in the world, ‘The Gathering’ is a wildlife spectacle which occurs annually in Minneriya. On this wildlife adventure, you will be taken to where Minneriya or Kaudualla National Parks (the guides have the best idea where the most elephants will be on any given day) where you will get a chance to see hundreds of elephants feeding, bathing, playing and interacting with their herds. There will be plenty of baby elephants who are so entertaining to watch! Your guide is a local expert and experienced wildlife safari guide, who will tell you about the elephants of Sri Lanka and their special behavioural traits as well as about the beautiful Minneriya & Kaudulla National Parks.

‘The Gathering’ is an annual wildlife phenomenon in Minneriya. On this unique wildlife escapade, you will be escorted to either Minneriya or Kaudulla National Parks (the guide knows where to find the highest elephant concentration on any given day) where you will have the opportunity to observe hundreds of elephants as they feed, bathe, frolic, and socialise with their kind.
