Really great experience - I spend a really good time with Sajee and him wife. They explain to you all the ingredients and the step for cook them, in a quiet space and nice kitchen. I recommend this cooking class, wish is a really nice experience :)

The best cooking class! - We found this place online but we booked it directly with Sajee as he was very responsive when contacted. Despite we were the only ones, they went above and beyond to make this experience enjoyable and memorable. We made (and also ate) 7 different curries and an extra dish - coconut sambol, which was really our favourite! Sajee and his wife have a lot of knowledge about Srilankan cuisine and they told us a lot of new information and answered on all our questions. Sajee speaks good english and he is also very talkative and funny. At the end they also got us fresh papaya and bananas. We really enjoyed the time with both of them and recommend this cooking class to everyone who loves Srilankan food.

Amazing - Had such a fun cooking class here, it was amazing. I couldn’t find a tuktuk at first and let them know, so they even picked me up by scooter which was very kind of them. It’s very nice to know what goes into Sri Lankan food and how they prepare it, really excited to try it at home with the recipes I got from them!! We were able to try everything ourselves and got some great tips, even on how to make it back home with the produce we have in the supermarket.

Sajee and Suzy’s excellent cooking class - Fabulous cooking class in Sigiryia. Cooked 7 dishes and side dishes and all were traditional and Sri Lankan - very hands on and learning the traditional methods of cooking. Sajee and his wife Suzy also taught us methods of washing rice and lentils for different dishes. The setting of the class was also lovely in an outdoor kitchen. There were three of us and only one other person in the class so we could all be very hands on. Would 100% recommend to anyone travelling to Sigiryia and cannot wait to cook everything when we get home with the recopies they have given us.

Amazing cooking class experience - This cooking class wird Sajee, his wife Susi and his sister was amazing. We learn a lot about the spices used in Sri Lankan dishes. They showed us every step first and then we were able to do everything ourselves. Including the right way to open a coconut. It took us 3h to cook all 7 dishes and they all tastest great. Really nice is, the Sajee sent us the recipes so we can cook them at home. He also gave us tips on how we can replace ingredients with things that are available in our country. I absolutely recommend to do the cooking class with Sajee! One of the best experiences in Sri Lanka so far.

Great cooking class! - We had an amazing cooking class with Sajeewa! We learned a lot about the Sri Lankan food. We made 7 curry's, pappadam and coconut sambal. And got a lot of recipes.
