Bandaranaike International Airport to Sigiriya
Sigiriya - Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo, a driver from Sri Lanka Dream Tour will warmly greet and welcome the traveler. They will then be escorted to a luxurious private vehicle that will be available throughout the holiday in Sri Lanka. The first destination on this 12-day Sri Lanka itinerary is Sigiriya, approximately a 4-hour drive from the airport. The rest of the day can be spent at leisure to relax. The first two nights will be spent at a hotel in Sigiriya. (Hotels can be booked online as per preference)
Sigiriya to Polonnaruwa
Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress - From Sigiriya, the next morning, the journey continues to Polonnaruwa, a 2-hour drive away.
Polonnaruwa - After exploring the Ancient City of Polonnaruwa, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and learning about Lankan history, the return to Sigiriya will include a delightful traditional Sri Lankan lunch. There will also be an opportunity to engage in rock climbing at “Lion’s Rock” (approximately 1200 steps), another UNESCO World Heritage site. After a long day, a Sri Lankan Ayurveda spa treatment can be enjoyed if desired. Overnight stay at the same hotel in Sigiriya. Hotel booking is the customer’s responsibility.
Sigiriya to Kandy
Golden Temple of Dambulla - In the morning, a visit to a local village via Bullock Cart (Rural village tour-Sigiriya) offers a chance to spend time with villagers and understand village life. The journey then continues to Sri Lanka’s beautiful hill country. Three and a half hours from Sigiriya is the hill capital of Kandy. En route, the Dambulla Cave Temples (about 300-400 steps to climb), and a herbal & spice garden in Matale will be visited. In the evening, enjoy the Kandy Lake Club-Cultural Dance show. Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic - In the morning, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, followed by a three-hour journey to Nuwara Eliya. En route, visit Ramboda Falls, a tea plantation, and a tea factory. In Nuwara Eliya, a city tour and a food tour will be conducted. In the evening, visit Gregary Lake & Park. Overnight stay at a hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

Horton Plains National Park - Early morning, visit Horton Plains National Park, a paradise for nature lovers with pleasant treks and hikes that are not particularly challenging. This area is rich in biodiversity, with many endemic species of flora and fauna, and the sambar deer is the most commonly seen mammal. Favorite stops on this trek include World’s End, offering spectacular views of the surrounding valley and mountains, and Baker’s Falls.
Seetha Amman Kovil - Later that day, visit the Seetha Amman Temple and Hakgala Botanical Gardens. Overnight stay at the same hotel in Nuwara Eliya. Hotel booking is the customer’s responsibility.
Nuwara Eliya to Ella
Little Adam’s Peak View Point - The following morning, enjoy a beautiful train journey from Nanu Oya to the breathtaking town of Ella. Upon arrival, visit “Little Adam’s Peak.” In Ella, there is a unique opportunity to participate in a cookery class to learn how to make authentic Sri Lankan Rice and Curry. Ella is a natural beauty, with its waterfalls, greenery, and hills, offering a refreshing escape. Overnight stay at a hotel in Ella. Hotel booking is the customer’s responsibility.
Ella to Yala
Buduruwagala Temple - In the morning, visit Nine Arch Bridge, then depart for Yala. En route, visit Ravana Waterfall, Ravana Cave, and Buduruwagala Buddha Statue. Overnight stay at a hotel in Yala. Hotel booking is the customer’s responsibility.
Yala to Mirissa
Yala National Park - Early morning, embark on a jeep safari in Yala National Park, the most visited and second-largest national park in Sri Lanka. Yala combines a strict nature reserve with a national park, divided into 5 blocks, with a protected area of nearly 130,000 hectares consisting of light forests, scrubs, grasslands, tanks, and lagoons. Two blocks are currently open to the public. The park is renowned for its variety of wild animals and is crucial for the conservation of Sri Lankan elephants, leopards, and aquatic birds. Galle Fort - Early morning, embark on a Whales & Dolphins watching tour off the Mirissa coast. Then, depart for Hikkaduwa. En route, visit the fish market and observe the fascinating tradition of stilt fishing, then drive to Galle to explore the Galle Dutch Fort.
