Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress - We will check out from the hotel and head to Sigiriya, one of Sri Lanka’s most renowned and captivating sites. Sigiriya translates to ‘lion’s rock’ and stands approximately 200 meters tall. Historically, this rock served as a kingdom for King Kashyapa in the 5th century. We assure you… it’s going to be an incredible day! Explore the ancient wall paintings, the Sanskrit-inscribed mirror wall, and the massive stone lion paws that guard the ascent to the summit. The views from the top are unparalleled as you journey through time examining the ruins. From here, you can see the national parks of Minneriya and Kaudulla, home to hundreds of elephants. After visiting Lion Rock, we will proceed to Kandy via the Matale Hindu Temple and the famous Spice Garden, where you can learn about Sri Lankan spices.

Anuradhapura
Anuradhapura - After breakfast, we will head to Anuradhapura (a 4-hour drive). This is an experience you shouldn’t miss to immerse yourself in the ancient culture of Sri Lanka. The Cultural Triangle in the Central Highlands includes the ancient temples of Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa, as well as the mountain city of Kandy. Anuradhapura, one of Sri Lanka’s ancient capitals, is now a UNESCO World Heritage site. It was one of the most stable and enduring centers of political power and urban life in South Asia, and a wealthy city that fostered a unique culture and great civilization. The ruins include three types of buildings: stupas (dagebas), monastic buildings, and royal ponds. You will visit the entire UNESCO site of Anuradhapura on this day.

Polonnaruwa
Polonnaruwa - After breakfast, we will visit Polonnaruwa, the second most ancient of Sri Lanka’s kingdoms. After exploring the Polonnaruwa UNESCO site, we will visit a local village to experience the lifestyle in this beautiful area. Afterwards, we will prepare to explore the exciting Minneriya National Park, where you can see hundreds of elephants. After the safari tour, we will return to your hotel in Sigiriya. In the evening, you can explore the cafes and restaurants around Sigiriya.

Nuwara Eliya - Today we will leave Kandy and head to Nuwara Eliya, but first, you will visit the Botanical Garden in Kandy. It’s time to explore the tea region of Nuwara Eliya. On the way, you can visit a tea factory and learn about the tea-making process, and also try some fresh varieties of tea. Nuwara Eliya is often referred to as ‘Little England’ because many buildings date back to the British colonial period, such as the Queen’s Cottage, Grand Hotel, Hill Club, and Town Post Office. Sri Lanka, tea, and tourism are inseparable. Head for the cool and misty hills, enjoy the heavenly scent, and make sure to end your day in style in the cool climate. Attractions in Nuwara Eliya include walking through the historical city, Lover’s Leap waterfall, Victoria Park, and Gregory Lake.

Ella - After breakfast, we will visit the beautiful Horton Plains National Park and then take a scenic train trip to Ella. This tour offers a picturesque train ride through the stunning mountains of tropical Sri Lanka. Embark on the train ride from Nanu Oya train station. Our guide will take your bags and meet you at Ella train station. Enjoy the colorful scenery and interesting villages passing by. Experience Sri Lanka’s natural beauty at its best. Ella is another perfect destination in Sri Lanka, known for its beautiful landscape, waterfalls, and cool weather.
Ella
Ella - After breakfast, it’s time to do some hiking and enjoy the beautiful landscape in the small town of Ella. Today we will discover waterfalls, the Nine Arch Bridge, and Little Adam’s Peak. In the evening, we will explore the town center, which is filled with many bars and restaurants. Your hotel is located in Ella with a view of the famous Ella Rock.
Yala
Yala National Park - After breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye to Ella and head to Yala. Here, you can see leopards, bears, and birds. Join the Yala National Park Safari tour in the evening and enjoy a BBQ after being in the wild. You will stay at the Tissa Lake View romantic hotel for one night. Attractions here include the Tissa Lake bird safari, Yala National Park, and the ancient city and temple of Tissamaharama. You will stay in Yala for one night.
Mirissa Beach
Mirissa Beach - Tangalle, located on the southern coast of the island, is one of the best beaches in Sri Lanka. It offers a more laid-back atmosphere compared to Galle and Hikkaduwa, making it a perfect destination to experience tropical Sri Lanka without the crowds. Matara, like other southern coastal cities, is known for its diverse landscapes, cultures, and interesting colonial monuments. Tangalle is a paradise with untouched beaches kissed by azure waters and lined with swaying palms. Visit Tangalle and explore its attractions like the Hummanaya Blow Hole and enjoy activities at Goyambokka beach and others. You will stay one night in a beachfront hotel.
Mirissa Beach
Mirissa Beach - After breakfast, we will head to Mirissa, where you can see huge whales and relax on the beautiful beach for another two days. It is a stunning beach with a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere. Along the beach, there are plenty of restaurants and cafes serving delicious and fresh seafood. After dark, the restaurants set up tables on the beach, light lanterns and candles, and serve seafood BBQ. You will stay in Mirissa for two nights.
Hikkaduwa
Hikkaduwa - After breakfast, we will head to Galle. En route, you can view the stilt fishermen of Weligama as they fish, then visit the old Portuguese fort, later rebuilt and extended by the Dutch. It is still well-preserved. Galle, the capital of the southern province, is a city with a colorful history. The Galle Fort is a World Heritage site and the largest remaining fortress in Asia built by European colonists. You will also enjoy many water sports and the best jungle beach in Unawatuna.
Bentota Beach
Bentota Beach - After breakfast, we will head to Colombo for your last night and enjoy a city tour of Sri Lanka’s capital. It’s time to do some shopping, visit local restaurants, walk through Galle Face Green, or visit Gangaramaya Temple, Pettah Market, and experience Colombo’s nightlife. You will stay at a sea view hotel in Colombo.
