Look no further... you've found your 5-star Korean guide! - Lee’s 5 hour city highlights tour was truly OUTSTANDING, and a MUST for anyone new to Seoul or South Korea. Lee is personable, engaging, and impressively well travelled, having hiked her way across most of the globe (including sojourns in Africa, Nepal, Europe, Australia, and even Fargo, North Dakota!). She is deeply conversant in Korean history, speaks impeccable English, and — most impressive — readily won the favor of my three impish children, the oldest of whom (14) judged Lee’s tour to be the “BEST EVER”… high praise indeed from a moody teenage girl who typically issues eye rolls and bored yawns on similar family excursions. So… look no further… Lee’s is THE TOUR YOU NEED, and one that will serve as an excellent springboard for any vacation on the Korean peninsula. Bonus perks: 1/ Lee is a wellspring of miscellanea and information, and happily provided tailored recommendations for other activities during our time in country, to include backstreet foodie indulgences, local hiking trails, pro baseball, and — for the missus — must-visit meccas of “K-Beauty”; 2/ Lee is a passionate hiker and offers a number of guided treks for those study, adventurous, and brave enough to sweat their way up scenic climbs during a sweltering Seoul summer. Next time, perhaps…

A Magical Experience - Hiking Gwanaksan with Lee is such a magical experience. This hike is a bit more of a challenge, especially on a hot day. But Lee makes sure to take breaks and give you a rest if you need it. Reaching the top and seeing the views that are breathtaking make the journey worth it. Visiting the temple and sharing lunch make the day that much more special. This has been my third year hiking with Lee on my trips to Seoul and every trip with her has been amazing. No matter the difficulty level, she is there to guide, encourage and show you this amazing nature she knows and loves. I have hiked with her in snow and in extreme heat and no matter the weather, she is prepared and ensures you have a good experience. She is one of the greatest tour guides I have ever met.

A beautiful journey! - This was my third and last hike with Lee and it was an AWESOME way to close up my trip. The road is rocky and sloped but Lee always kept a close eye on me and offered me breaks. Reaching the top was one of the most rewarding experiences of my trip. The view is breathtaking but the temples at the top are worth the effort alone. You can feel how special and full of history those places are and how important they are for Korean people. Lee explained gave me background info about the temples and their history. We also got a delicious lunch (kimbap is a MUST try) and we played the same board game we played before (she even gifted me my own game set!). The way down was much easier and faster. Lee even helped me to get back home. To close up, after experiencing 3 hikes with Lee I HIGHLY recommend any of her tours. She is very professional and humane with her customers. She always kept an eye regarding my welfare and I never felt rushed, it was like going hiking with a true friend. Thank you very much Lee! :)
