Additional Information

Take our 100% Transparent Canoes out for a spin on the charmingly pristine Silver River! As you navigate the waters, encounter an array of indigenous wildlife including birds, fish, manatees, and rhesus monkeys! Our Transparent Canoes offer a unique perspective for observing the aquatic life right under you!

Unlike the majority of Florida’s springs that have a single spring head, Silver Springs boasts 30 recorded spring heads. With your Transparent Canoe rental, you have the opportunity to glide over these spring heads and appreciate the extraordinary view.

The canoe rental is yours and you have the liberty to meander without the constraints of a guide. No guide implies that there’s no pressure to maintain a certain velocity. Leisurely observe the wildlife and capture numerous photographs as souvenirs.

At Silver Springs State Parks, leashed dogs are allowed. Dogs are also welcomed on our canoe rentals.

  • Weight limit of 250lbs per seat and 400lbs for the whole canoe.
  • All canoes are tandem. The canoes comfortably fit 2 people maximum. One small child is permitted with 2 adults if the weight limit is not exceeded.
  • Dogs are permitted. They must be leashed at all times.
  • Drinks and snacks are permitted. Please remove your trash when complete.

Amazing!!!! - This was an Amazing Experience! As much as i love the gulf. Im willing to give up a few days at the beach to enjoy springs for a few days every year. I felt like i was in a jungle during some parts of the trip. It was Amazing. The glass bottom kyacks really made the trip.

Great place to slow around - Chris place to kayak, the kayaks or canoe was pretty sturdy. Me and my daughter were a little overweight so we didn’t have no issues floating around. Is it to handle and pretty comfortable.

Silver Springs - Where do I begin?? Boats were super comfortable and easy to see out of. Paul was so friendly and kind, gave us the best directions on where to go and what to do. And the experience itself was breath taking. 100/10 would recommend:)

Fabulous kayak trip - Our guide Justin showed us a side of the springs we couldn't have appreciated without him. We saw sunken boats, movie sets, small hidden gators as well as large ones, monkeys, gar, a water mocosin, tilapia, and so much more. The experience was very memorable, not to mention stunningly beautiful.

Wonderful trip for everyone - We had a fantastic experience clear canoeing! We saw alligators, turtles, a monkey and all sorts of birds. We were a party of 9 and ranged from age 9 yrs to 82 years. It’s really something everyone can enjoy and our guide was super helpful and attentive at launch and landing with clear instructions.

It’s a 50/50 chance for manatees/monkeys - This place is a little pricey for how little there is to do if i were to go here again i’d do the 4 hour trip “ more bang for your buck”. My guide Paul 10/10 recommend trying to get him as your guide he was very friendly, and he was really knowledgeable about the springs the only thing that sucked is that we didn’t get to see any sea manatees and or monkeys but there is still plenty of wildlife out there to see. There is also a whole park to explore afterwords and or before your trip.
