An incredible tour with an amazing guide! - Tania was an incredible guide. She knew the waterway so well, and she took us to sights we would not have seen or noticed without her expertise. We would strongly suggest LiveWater for anyone looking to experience all Silver Springs has to offer.

Fun for the whole family! - WOW!!! Must do! This was a magical, up close, educational- while not feeling too educational, super fun kayak trip through pristine spring water teeming with gobs of wildlife. My Florida family, with five kids ranging in ages from 3-13, made such epic memories. Highly recommend. Tania is so knowledgeable, and it is obvious that she loves what she does. She was patient and encouraging with our 8 year-old who had never kayaked before. He left feeling like a pro. If you’re in the area, or even if you’re not 😁, we highly recommend you make the trip.

Highly recommended! - Tania is an amazing guide and we highly recommend this tour! The small group experience was exactly what we were looking for and it did not disappoint. Tania was very respectful and informative about the history of this absolutely breathtaking park. Although there is never a guaratee of seeing wildlife in their natural habitat Tania has an excellent eye for spotting them! She also goes above and beyond taking beautiful photos and videos to share with you so that you can just relax and enjoy the tour! We've done the trendy clear kayak and will never go back. You can not see anything through them with all the scratches and feel like they're going to crack when you get in and out of them. These kayaks are very sturdy, easy to navigate and much more comfortable! Not to mention more eco-friendly. Thank you Tania for the amazing experience!!

Small is better - Tania was a great guide, and the small group is really nice. It was a cool morning but still saw monkeys, turtles, alligator and various birds. Highly recommend. And she took great some great pictures. Would definitely do again!

LiveWater kayak tour of Silver Springs River - We were deciding whether we should rent a kayak and explore the river on our own, or go with a guide. When we read the description on LiveWaters website, it sounded like a very interesting experience. We’re so glad that we took the tour with them. Steve was our guide. He’s very knowledgeable about the native wildlife, the river and springs, and the history of the park, itself. We learned so much from him. He’s also super friendly and kind. He even shared pictures that he took during our tour with us. I highly recommend taking a tour with LiveWater. It’s money well spent.

Silver Springs - Highly Recommended! - I can't recommend this tour enough! Tania is such a remarkable person – deeply eco-conscious and dedicated to sustainability, especially when it comes to preservation of Silver Springs. We had a fantastic time kayaking with her, spotting manatees, birds, turtles, and fish, all while learning about the rich history of the local flora and fauna. Tania's communication was excellent, balancing professionalism with a relaxed, friendly approach. Her connection to nature is clear, and as someone who cares deeply about wildlife, this tour was by far the highlight of our six-day trip to Central Florida. We had booked a few other tours, but they left us feeling like the wildlife was being exploited or rushed. This tour, on the other hand, was calm, respectful, and focused on the well-being of the animals. Tania’s diverse life experiences—having lived across Canada and the U.S. and traveled extensively—brought a unique perspective to the tour. She pointed out native species such as gar and tilapia, which really enriched our understanding of the area. To top it off, Tania took photos and videos throughout the tour, so we have beautiful memories to look back on. If you’re looking for a genuine, educational, and memorable eco-tour, this is the one. I can't recommend it enough – it was undoubtedly the highlight of our trip.

Amazing Eco Tour with Tania – Highly Recommend! - I can’t recommend this tour enough! Tania is such a wonderful person – eco-conscious and passionate about sustainability, especially when it comes to preserving Silver Springs. We had an amazing time kayaking with her and spotting manatees, birds, turtles, and fish, all while learning about the history of the local flora and fauna. Tania is an excellent communicator and kept everything professional, yet laid-back, making the experience even better. You can tell she really connects with nature, and as someone who cares deeply about wildlife, this was by far the best part of our six-day trip to Central Florida. We booked a few other tours during our stay, but they left us feeling like the wildlife was being exploited or chased. This tour, however, felt totally different – it was calm, respectful, and focused on the animals’ well-being. Tania’s worldly experience (she’s lived across Canada and the U.S. and has traveled all over) made the tour even more interesting. She pointed out various fish like gar and tilapia, along with other native species, which added a lot of depth to the experience. If you're looking for a tour that’s genuine, educational, and truly connects you with nature, this is the one. I honestly can't recommend it enough. It was definitely the highlight of our trip.

Best kayak tour at Silver Springs, in my opinion - We had carefully researched several different kayak tours at Silver Springs before we chose LiveWater Experiences. Wow, did we ever make a great choice! First of all, Tania's tours are limited to 5 people, so you get a much more personalized and intimate experience than you would as part of one of the large tour groups. Second, Tania was a fabulous guide--she knew where to look for different wildlife and features of the springs, and she was incredibly knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the area. I don't think we were able to stump her with our questions. We saw manatees, tilapia, gar, anhingas, double-breasted cormorants, snowy egrets, a red-shouldered hawk, turtles, pied-billed grebes, little blue herons, a green heron, tricolored herons, alligators, wood ducks, and more. Third--and this was a great bonus--she took amazing photos of our group from her perspective standing on her SUP, as well as some incredible underwater photos of manatees and other aquatic life. We had thoughts about taking a tour in clear or glass-bottomed kayaks, but the folks we talked to on the water who were in those craft said that they were hard to see through (due to wear and tear) and they were getting their best views over the sides of their boats, just like we were. It also appeared that Tania's kayaks were much more stable and maneuverable than the bathtub-like clear kayaks. Ultimately, we were perfectly happy with our regular kayaks. If you're in Silver Springs and really appreciate wildlife and the intimacy of a small group tour, this is the one to take!
