Beautiful - JM and Laurence Beautiful couple getaway accompanied by our Multilingual Guide Carlos: French, Spanish, English. A very nice person. Thanks to his knowledge of his region, we discovered the jewels of the Algarve: The medieval town of Silves, Monchique hills with hot springs, citrus orchards, eucalyptus and cork oak forests, visit to a distillery making the famous medronho. At noon lunch based on local products. And in the afternoon head to the west coast and visit the lighthouse of Cabo de Sao Vicente. This beautiful day with our Guide allowed us to better know the landscapes and customs of the Algarve. We recommend this wonderful excursion with Portitours.

Algarve with all your senses - Very nice and informative trip through the other side of Algarve. You could take many photos and experienced a lot of new impressions about life in the Algarve. The food was great and the vegetarian option also a plus. The tour guide Vasco was very friendly and guided the tour perfectly even with 2 languages (German/French).

Versatile, beautiful but long tour - Was a very nice and versatile tour where we were able to take many beautiful pictures and got insights about the culture, nature, economy, geography etc. Food was very delicious and Vasko our driver was an excellent guide. He said something almost continuously. Picked various leaves and herbs and made us smell and touch. He also answered any questions and was generally very friendly. Was a long tour about 10 hours but you also saw most of the Algarve with one day.

Top Tour - The tour with Peter more than exceeded expectations. We were picked up on time and made some very interesting stops. Our driver Peter gave us a lot of information, was humorous and professional. He was open and relaxed. The highlight was when I forgot my jacket on the bus at the end of the tour and Peter drove back to bring me the jacket. TOP service, thank you very much!! We can only recommend this tour to others, these are things you should see in the Algarve.

Beyond the Beaches: A Magical Day Exploring the Algarve with Vasco - Our recent Algarve vacation took a delightful turn thanks to a day trip booked through Hotel Auramar and run by the fantastic Portitours company. From pickup at the hotel to drop-off in the early evening, it was a seamless and unforgettable experience. The star of the show, however, was our guide, Vasco. His passion for the Algarve was contagious, and his knowledge of the region's history, culture, and hidden gems was truly impressive. He expertly weaved together historic lessons about cork trees, the development of the Algarve, and fascinating local stories, making every sight come alive. The day wasn't just about enriching our minds, though. Vasco took us on a breathtaking journey through the heart of the Algarve. We explored charming villages, marveled at stunning coastal views, and even ventured into the mountains. A particularly delightful stop was a chance to savor some locally produced Aguardente – a true treat for our taste buds! We couldn't resist picking up a couple of bottles as souvenirs. Lunch was another highlight. We were treated to a phenomenal meal at a local restaurant, where the freshest, locally sourced ingredients danced on our plates. Each bite was a delicious testament to the culinary magic of the Algarve. By the end of the day, we returned to the hotel with hearts brimming with happy memories. We had not only explored breathtaking landscapes but also gained a deeper appreciation for the Algarve's rich history and culture. A huge thank you to Vasco at Portitours, whose expertise and enthusiasm made it a truly magical day for our whole family. We highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a fun, informative, and delicious way to discover the Algarve's hidden gems!

Not the trip we expected - This trip was our third with Portitours and we had high expectations after the Benagil boat trip and The secrets of the East. Unfortunately we were definitely disappointed. The trip is 8 hours, 5 hours we were in the bus. We were stopping for 10/20 minutes. Only lunch was longer. Our guide almost didn’t say anything, he was driving very fast through the black roads, moreover the bus was old and uncomfortable. The trip itself should be very interesting- Silves, the Monchique mountains, Cape Saint Vincent… We thought to do that part of Algarve by car ourselves, but decided to go on a guided tour to get more information and to see hidden places. Definitely regret this decision.
