Practicing snowshoeing doesn’t require any previous experience. You just need snowshoes, and warm clothing and boots; everything else is provided by the great outdoors. We’ll provide a brief rundown of the route, starting from the trailhead, moving through the wilderness and ascending the cliff with a splendid view of the majestic Georgian Bay. The sight of Beckwith Island and Giants Tomb in the North/West direction from the cliff is truly breathtaking. Our journey will then take us down to the beach where we’ll enjoy a warm beverage before returning to the log cabin to get comfortable by the wood-burning stove. Depending on the atmospheric conditions and the group’s willingness, we might venture through the wilderness down to Kettles Lake.
