- Bucegi Mountains - To the east, the Bucegi Mountains have a very steep slope towards the popular tourist destinations in the Prahova Valley, such as Bușteni and Sinaia. At a higher elevation is the Bucegi Plateau, where wind and rain have turned the rocks into spectacular figures such as the Sphinx and Babele.
The Bucegi is believed to be the Dacian holy mountain Kogainon, on which the God Zalmoxis resided in a cave.

This is an exclusive tour. It’s only for your group. We’ll collect you from Bucharest and journey to the Bucegi Mountains. We then head up to the Piatra Arsă cabin, right before we plunge into a hiking adventure to the Babele cabin, where we’ll take a break. Our journey continues with a visit to the limestone formations of Babele and the Sfinx. Thereafter, we proceed to the Heroes Monument, the Cross on Caraiman Mountain. Here, we’ll be greeted with breathtaking views of the Prahova valley and enjoy the refreshing air. We end our tour retracing the route we came in on.
