Brasov Historical Center - This city was historically the regional capital of the Transylvanian Saxons in the Burzenland administrative area and a significant commercial center on the trade routes between East and West. It is also the birthplace of Romania’s national anthem.
Black Church (Biserica Neagra) - Constructed by the city’s German community, this church is the country’s main Gothic-style monument and the largest and most significant Lutheran (Evangelical Church of Augustan Confession in Romania) place of worship in the region.

Peasant Fortified Church at Prejmer - Founded by the Germanic Teutonic Knights and later taken over by the Transylvanian Saxon community, this church was initially Roman Catholic and became Lutheran after the Reformation. Cetatea Alba Iulia - The Alba Carolina Citadel is a star-shaped fortress in Alba Iulia, Romania. Its construction began on November 4, 1715, during Habsburg rule in Transylvania, and was completed in 1738. Approximately 20,000 serfs participated in its construction, which cost an estimated 3 million guldens. The citadel was built on the site of two previous fortifications: the legionary fortress of Legio XIII Gemina and the medieval Balgrad citadel.
