The Best Your Ever - The best possible introduction to Romania and its complex history. The mixture of monarchy, war, conflict, and revolution is made plain. Additionally, the castles are breathtaking. This is a must-do experience.

Great guide on outstanding day - This was an amazing (although long) day and Octavian was a fantastic guide. We went to Bran first so about a 3 hour drive, then Brasov and Peles last, so the shortest drive back at the end of the day. Bran is as others have described - original outside but refurbished inside due to confiscation in years past. It’s a ‘should see’ and it is impressive from outside, but if you don’t see it, it shortest be that bad. Brasov was lovely and I would have spent more time here and skipped Bran. The black church is surprisingly good and the town delightful. We hit terrible traffic getting to Peles (an accident ) and only just scraped in 30 mins before the last ground floor tour. I would have like to get to the upper floor but no time. It’s under renovation outside and the Turkish room inside so you don’t get the real feel for it’s size and scope. Again, Octavian was an amazing guide and would highly recommend

Excellent way to spend a day-trip. - Our guide, Octavian, was excellent. Very knowledgeable on the history of România and the specific sites we visited. The tour is a long one to do but worth it. We were collected and dropped back perfectly on time.

Don’t miss Peles Castle - Trip was as described. Peles castle and the medieval town we went for lunch were spectacular. Bran Castle very touristy. Traffic was horrendous on the way back to Bucharest with the drive taking 5 hours- this is the reason for 4 stars rather than 5. Our guide was reliable, knowledgeable and accommodating. I recommend the trip despite the traffic.
