WORTH EVERY PENNY! - Alin was our tour guide and I would highly recommend to have him as yours! He took good care of us during the tour, was easy going and comfortable to talk to. He is extremely knowledge about the history of Romania and an engaging person. I’m glad the tour started early. We were able to arrive before any other group and were one of the first people to enter Peles Castle. He gave us plenty of time at all three locations and didn’t rush us. I highly recommend to do a private tour as it feels more personal and you avoid the crowds and stress of staying with the group. After the tour he gave us plenty of recommendations the made our trip even more enjoyable.

Fantastic tour - would highly recommend - We had a fantastic time and this was a real highlight of our trip to Romania. Octavian was super friendly and very knowledgeable - the trip was seamless from start to finish and there were lots of extra stories and recommendations along the way. Would definitely recommend!

Made the most of our time! - When you travel, money and time are both resources. When you can spend a little money to maximize your time, that is a win. Our trip (4 of us) to Castle Peles, Bran Castle, and Braşov with Alin as our driver and tour guide was a definite win. We were able to leave Bucharest early and get ahead of the large buses which put us first in line to enter Castle Peles where Alin provided us with a guided tour. From there he kept us ahead of the crowds (without making us feel rushed) at Bran Castle. All of this meant we had time to shop and snack in the village at Bran before we even got to Braşov. Would recommend both the company, Day Trip România and specifically Alin as your driver and guide.

Good trip! LOVED Pele’s... - Good trip! LOVED Pele’s Castle! So ornate! Lots of traffic at this time of year and two-lane roads, but Vlad was a great driver and guide. He is familiar with the area and took known ways to bypass traffic when able. He has a great sense of humor too!

Amazing guide and tour of Romania! - Vlad was amazing! Great opportunity to see more of the country without having to rent a car and navigate on your own.
I booked the trip very last minute (late in the evening the day before) and I was able to get a confirmation and message from the guide in less than an hour. Guide Vlad was very knowledgeable about all the locations and even spots on the road and shared stories of Romania which helped make the drive go faster. Vlad was a great driver, but roads are long and windy, so recommend something for motion sickness if that normally bothers you. But plenty of opportunities to get snacks and stop for restroom, so overall very comfortable.

Private tour - Alin was Amazing from beginning to end. This is the first time I have ever written a review. That is how positive our experience was. We would recommend him for any group. So knowledgeable extremely experienced let us have time and worked with how we wanted our tour to go. Would recommend 110 %

Exceptional - Our tour guide was exceptional . He was not only knowledgeable but was fun to be with . He also gave us plenty of time on our own to explore the castles and city of Brasov. I highly recommend him and look forward to other tours with him in the future .

Great experience and amazing guide (Octavian) - This was a great experience and our guide, Octavian, was very knowledgeable and kind. He made every effort to make the trip comfortable and accommodating. Peles castle was well worth the drive from Bucharest. I would recommend choosing a week day rather than the weekend to avoid a long queue on the drive back to Bucharest (we went on a Sunday and Octavian explained that is a very busy travel day for people returning to Bucharest from the mountains for the weekend).

Castles tour - The tour was very excellent and our guide (Octavian) was extremely professional. He tailored his tour narration to our interests (history and architecture). Well worth the extra cost for a private tour.

Transylvania by private tour- excellent purchase! - Victor greeted us the day before our tour, introduced himself and confirmed our meeting in the lobby of the hotel (very nice!). Our entire trip unfolded in a perfect way with his explanations and continual stories, interwoven with personal reflections and experience. It was an “absolutely delightful” day and experience. Highly recommend and added Kuddos to VICTOR!
