- Peles Castle - Built between 1873-1914, Peles Castle was constructed for the first King of Romania, Carol I. The King arrived in Sinaia in 1866 and stayed for a short time, being pleasantly impressed by the place. The castle has hosted significant visits and events, including the old emperor of Austria-Hungary, Franz Joseph, in 1896, the abdication of King Michael I, the last King of Romania, and the visit of Richard Nixon, president of the USA. Now, the castle is owned by the Royal Family and the Ministry of Culture.

- Cantacuzino Castle - Construction was completed in 1911. The castle was built on the site of an old hunting lodge that the prince’s family had used as a stopover during their pilgrimages to Brașov. The interior of the castle has a pronounced romantic character. During the communist period, the building served as a sanatorium. In the post-communist period, the castle was returned to the direct heiress. The castle is now privately owned and has been open to the public since 2010. In addition to its traditional elements, since 2016, the castle courtyard hosts an adventure park for children and parents, as well as two restaurants. In 2022, the castle was a filming location for the Netflix series Wednesday.
