Additional Information

Today our priority is Sinaia, known as the Carpathian’s Pearl. We begin our day at Peles, the castle of Romania’s inaugural king. Following this history-filled tour, we venture a short distance to the equally awe-inspiring palace, Pelisor. Once we’ve admired the royal abode, we descend to Sinaia’s original settlement, its namesake monastery. In the afternoon, a brief trip takes us to Azuga, specifically, the Rhein wine cellars. Here, we uncover the secrets of their 1892 champagne method for creating sparkling wine. As the day closes, we visit the captivating memorial home of the esteemed Romanian musician, George Enescu.

As twilight descends, we return to our hotel.
