- Bran Castle (Dracula’s Castle) - We will continue the journey, entering Transylvania “the country beyond the forest”. Here is where you will see the second castle in the program, Bran Castle, a medieval construction that became so famous thanks to the legend of Count Dracula. You do not need special equipment to visit the castle, but our advice is not to forget the garlic!
- Brasov Historical Center - Reaching Brasov, you will stop in the Old City center and visit the Council Square and the Black Church, the largest Gothic building in the Eastern part of Europe. Here, you will find out the story of the Saxons who colonized Transylvania in Medieval Age and their beautiful legacy which remained in very good shape despite time passing by.

- From the 1st of August 2024, Peles Castle is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. On these days, we will see the Peles Castle from outside & the gardens and we will spend more time in Brasov.
- During the official holidays and weekends, the traffic to the mountain area might be busier than usual, so…

Go with the Pros!! - Everything went so smooth and our guide Narcis was fantastic!! So knowledgable about not only the castles we visited, but the surrounding areas as well. I learned so many things about these castles I never knew and I loved how he explained everything in such a calm, chill and often times humorous manner! I can only recommend this tour.

Fun day exploring castles - Serban was a fantastic tour guide to the beautiful castle Peles, castle Bran and Brasov. He had very interesting stories to tell, that made the trip much more exciting. And, they were able to add me to the tour at the very last minute, when my tour booked with a different company fell through. I highly recommend them!

Awesomeee - This trip was amazing!!! It s a great opportunity to see the beautiful countryside and landscape beside the capital of bucuresti. Totally worth the money!!!Tour guide serban you are awesome guy, really helpful during the journey and with great, really interesting and fun fact knowledge about the monuments and the whole ride!!!!! Hilarious and helpful with various information besides the trip about our safety and convenience here!!!Thank youuuuu😁😁😁😁😁😁

Great Tour, Incredible guide! - Hard to pick my favourite part of the tour because everything was so amazing! The tour guide Horia made this tour so exciting and fun. He has a real passion of Romanian history and made our time with him super enjoyable! Would recommed this tour %100!!!

Excelent! - Really hope u get Horya as guide since he had lots of knowledge about both Peles and Vlad Tepes (Dracula).

Tour operator no showed, behaved dishonestly, and now refusing refund - We booked this tour for a visit to castles in Romania with Travelmakers. We waited outside for 45 minutes at the pick up point (JW Marriott) and when we telephoned them about the delay they wanted us to take an Uber to another location at our expense with no guarantees we would make the tour (on the basis that we were not at the pick up point and the driver had waited for us). This was baffling for us as we had waited at the exact spot and no van or bus came by. Meanwhile it turns out later that they never arrived at all as per this email from them which contradicted our earlier telephone conversation and demonstrates they were dishonest. On the phone the person even gaslighted me saying "Oh we were looking for you and waited 10 minutes" but then in turns out no one ever came.
I asked the company with which I booked to refund me but they said Travelmakers is denying the refund on the basis that we no showed. This is really unethical behaviour all round it seems, and leaves a bad impression of our time in Romania, and unfortunately we will have left only having seen Bucharest and nothing else of the country.
