Getting to know the real Singapore - We had such a great experience with Monica. We got out of the tourist areas and saw the every day Singapore. Monica was attentive and tuned in quickly to our interests. She provided some great suggestions for things to do during the rest of our stay. She was generous with her time. Thanks very much Monica.

Must Do Food Tour and More in Singapore - Arthur actually arrived at our agreed upon meeting place prior to the agreed upon time, so we began as soon as my wife and I arrived. One of his first questions was whether we had anything else planned that day as he felt that the amount of time advertised for the tour was insufficient. Since we did not, Arthur provided us with a very comprehensive food and cultural tour of the 3 main ethnic groups found in Singapore. Being an avid photographer, Arthur was very eager to take pictures of my wife and I. He took us to a number of "off the beaten track" shops and food establishments along with the more well known Hawker center. I have a hearing problem, but had no problem understanding Arthur. His English is excellent and he made sure that my wife and I both heard and understood what he was saying. We ended with an amazing full-day tour that was definitely a major highlight of our southeast Asia vacation. I definitely recommend Arthur! Note - my wife and I took this tour in January 2018.

A delicious way to see Singapore - Overall, Arthur was a great tour guide. Although not everything went completely smoothly (certain restaurants were closed, which was not his fault of course), he adjusted well on the fly. His enthusiasm for Singapore (not just the food but the city as a whole) is infectious. Two things to bear in mind if you are thinking about booking him. First, Arthur likes to take his time, so he prefers to spend 5 hours on the food tour rather than 3. To me, this was a bonus, as I got a longer tour for the same price and could eat at a more relaxed pace. I just thought I should mention this for those who are more in a rush or find a 5 hour tour to be too long/tiring. Second, unlike most tour guides who keep their personal views to themselves, Arthur is quite open and speaks his mind on issues of personal beliefs, politics, etc. Personally, I did not mind this, even if he and I do not share the same views on everything, and I would not let this deter you from choosing Arthur. Again, just something to bear in mind. Overall, a very pleasant half-day trip with an affable host and some amazing Chinese, Malay and Indian food!

Book this tour right now... it is a must - HJ was a font of knowledge starting our three day stay in Singapore. His friendly nature was lovely as he led us through the maze of Hawkers stalls at many of the street food markets in Chinatown. He pointed out local landmarks as well as describing, in detail, the many delightful dishes we had during our tour. HJ gave us great food advice and tips for the rest of our stay. We would highly recommend HJ and this food tour for anyone wanting to explore the street food scene of Singapore.

Awesome food and neighbourhood tour - I visited Singapore by myself for a short weekend trip and found
myself at a loss regarding what to do on my second evening there. Leo
was available at short notice for an evening food tour and so I took
my chance and made a booking. I was not disappointed. Leo is a very
polite and knowledgeable host who went out of his way to make my tour
the best for me. He took into account what I would find interesting
and took me to a great variety of food stalls and small shops which
worked perfectly for me. We walked a lot on this tour which I really enjoyed and Leo pointed out lots of interesting architecture and interesting facts about the neighbourhood. As a single woman travelling on my own, I
felt perfectly comfortable and at ease at all times and Leo even made
sure I would find my way back safely as we were in a completely different area than where I stayed. He is very knowledgable and
didn't grow tired of my many questions about Singapore and its food
culture. Leo's tour definitely made my trip great and he went the extra mile!

Excellent food tour and more! - HJ gave us a wonderful introduction to many of the signature foods that Singapore has to offer. In addition to selecting dishes for us to
try, HJ gave background information about each item and the culture behind it. Moreover, between eating destinations we saw many sites and were given detailed information about the neighborhoods, cultures, and city more generally. The quality and variety of food was great, and we finished the tour feeling very full. HJ was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, and we would recommend him to others considering this tour.

Memorable and a Must-do! - My husband and I were in Singapore for 36 hours on a long layover and
booked this tour with Ronnie before we left on our trip. Ronnie was
very communicative and kept in touch with us before we left the states
and right when we arrived in Singapore. Ronnie is full of knowledge,
super funny, and took the best photos of us on our tour. The tour
included amazing Instagram photo opps! We walked a lot, and Ronnie
gave us so much cultural, historical, and social information that
really blew us away! We ate a variety of very interesting and
delicious food and Ronnie had us eating a bit, and walking in between
tastes. A little bit of shopping time was included and my husband
bought a very cool shirt in an affordable market. Ronnie does other
tours too and I wish we had enough time to stay and have him show us
around more of the city. We highly recommend Ronnie and his excellence
in creating an unforgettable experience for us. We cannot wait to come
back and see Singapore with Ronnie again!

Save your money and do it yourself - I was disappointed in this tour. For the price we paid I expected a lot more for my money. I felt like I was just wandering markets with a guy who just had his own agenda, we lost him several times. There was definitely no alcohol but the description led me to believe there was. We were to choose our food (I told him countless times to choose for us) even though I thought the guide would choose the best eats for us. We walked past so many stalls (100or so) but three of our dishes came from the same stall right at the end (it was probably one of the least exciting stalls of the whole night). The guide was nice and took great photos. I could have had six nights out at the same place for the money we spent and I wouldn’t have had to deal with awkward conversation and him trying to sell other tours to us.

Good for food newbies, but we were disappointed - We did the 10 Tastings tour (but during the day, not the night one) with our guide William. He was enthusiastic about Singapore and eager to share its culture and history. We enjoyed the historical information and general walkabout to get a feel for the city. We visited 3 different hawker centers, and our favorite was the one in Little India. But we were disappointed by the food offerings. I contacted the company several times in order to ensure that a vegan food tour would be possible, and I was assured that it would not be a problem. We were surprised, then, when our guide had no clue that we were vegan or even what it meant. He kept trying to offer us things with seafood and dairy. This was a private tour -- just our family -- so there was no one else's diet to consider, so we were very disappointed when it was a problem. Also, no matter the diet, this tour is best for those who do not have a lot of experience with ethnic cuisine. We were perhaps too "food experienced" for this, and the quality of the food was fine, but not spectacular. We generally enjoyed this tour, but it fell quite short of expectations.
