Katong is a gem! - I’ve always loved the food when I visit Singapore, especially hawker stalls, hole-in-the wall places, mom-and-pop establishments, and amazing ethnic opportunities. Taking this afternoon food tour from Zaniel was a great opportunity for me to experience all of these and more! I really enjoyed Zaniel’s passion and knowledge of Katong and its history, culture, and food! I absolutely loved this area of Singapore (I’ve spent months total in SIN and never paid much attention to this neighborhood). It’s full of wonderful small restaurants, bars, small independently owned shops, pop up flea markets, pet shops, and so much more. I loved everything about this tour and it definitely inspired me to return to Katong on my next visit!

Get cultured!!! Good food, good guide and good local knowledge and history. - This was a great food and history tour, Zaniel was a top guide. He was easy to chat with, very knowledgeable about the Katong area, Singaporean history and the local food. There was a lot of variety in the foods my favourite was the curry puffs. After doing this tour I feel even more welcome in Singapore and world cultured Would 100% recommend it.

Interesting food tour away from the usual tourist places - Very interesting tour away from the usual tourist places in Singapore. There were many different snacks to try, both savory and sweet. We all got fed up, so you should definitely bring hunger! Our guide Stephen also provided us with a lot of interesting background information about the country and people.

Highly recommend! - Jamie was a great tour guide. She shared information both about the food and the country and answered all my questions. She came prepared with napkins and fans for us which was great on such a hot day! She's extremely knowledgeable and it made the food tour so much more.

Excellent walking food tour, both the food and the guide! - This was a fabulous walking tour! We tried so many different things and got to learn a lot about the city and the history and how the different cultures of Singapore have shaped it. Stephen Choy was an absolute delight as a guide. He always made sure that we had enough water, and took us to unique places and to small family shops for the very best of Singaporean food! We only went to one Hocker market, and I really appreciate it. Getting the chance to try these multigenerational food shops that were so unique and the best of their kind. Stephen really made sure that we got what we wanted out of the trip and also was able to modify it since we had a conference later this afternoon. I highly recommend this tour and especially Stephen has a phenomenal guide

Yummy walking tour of Katong with a great guide - We had a great walking tour of Katong with Jamie. She is a fantastic tour guide, highly knowledgeable and entertaining. It was great to hear about the daily lives of Singaporean people. The food was delicious and Jamie accounted for our dietary preferences and the fact we had children with us. I would recommend Jamie as a guide and this interesting tour for sure.

Great Food Tour with Jamie - We just got back from a 3 hour walking tour with Jamie. She was so interesting and knowledgeable about so many things! The food she got for us to try was also delicious and plentiful.

Best for food tour with Darius - Darius did an amazing tour, food with a bit of history thrown in. We loved it! Have done a lot of tours in Singapore but this was the best by far. Throughly recommend it!

Great day in Katong with Jamie - What a great day we had with Jamie who was engaging, energetic and knowledgable throughout our walking tour of Katong. We were never bored or tired or hungry. A day before the tour Jamie contacted us to discuss our expectations and notify of dietary requirements - and again at the meeting point took time before commencing to understand our interests so that she could tailor the tour for us to give us a great experience. We really appreciated her attention to detail and excellent customer service. We were so lucky to have been the only tour participants that day! As a result we had a private customised tour and lots of fun discussions with Jamie about life in Singapore. The tour course and content were great and the food tastings were absolutely delicious. We are freqent travellers to Singapore and have visited Katong previously. Despite this Jamie was able to show us more aspects of the local culture, discuss the history as well as new developments of the area, AND gave us a delicious food tour. At the end of the tour Jamie went above and beyond walked my husband to the bus stop (I decided to stay and further explore) and sent me a photo of him as proof of life. What a giggle I had!
