After clearing immigration, your English-speaking guide will settle you into the comfortable seats of your private, air-conditioned minivan to enjoy the 4-hour chauffeured drive to Malaysia’s capital - Kuala Lumpur.

  • Starbucks Melaka Raya - Along the way to Kuala Lumpur, your driver will make 2 stopovers.

The 1st stopover will be at a highway rest area near Malacca, where Starbucks/Costa Coffee and western-style toilets are available (toilet paper available upon request).

The 2nd stopover (with effect from 31 July 2024) will be at a 5-star Marriott/Mövenpick Hotel, where guests can enjoy a premium western breakfast (or traditional Malay breakfast upon request).

A 42.7-metre high gold-painted statue of Lord Murugan was unveiled in January 2006, having taken 3 years to construct. It is the tallest Lord Murugan statue in the world.

  • Sri Durgai Amman Temple - Located near Batu Caves is the Sri Durgai Amman Temple, dedicated to Goddess Durga, often regarded as the most powerful female Hindu deity - often depicted with 8 or 10 hands.

As a symbol of the triumph of good over evil, Goddess Durga is portrayed in mythology as a warrior who vanquishes the demonic powers that threaten the social order, economic well-being, and dharma.

In this temple, Goddess Durga is represented as a stunning woman riding a lion, her numerous hands armed with weapons to vanquish evil spirits.

In essence, Goddess Durga’s multiplicity of arms embodies her role as an all-powerful and fiercely protective goddess.

Truly amazing!!! - Our private day trip to Malaysia was an unforgettable experience! We managed to explore Melaka, Putrajaya, and Kuala Lumpur all in one day, and it truly felt like we saw the best of Malaysia in just a few hours. Our tour guide, Ayman, was exceptional. He provided continuous historical context and background at every stop, making the journey both educational and engaging. His deep knowledge of the region's history and culture added so much value to the experience, and we came away with a much richer understanding of Malaysia. A special shoutout to our driver, Jo, who was incredibly patient and skillful. Despite the long day and the busy roads, Jo ensured we traveled in comfort and safety throughout. This trip was a perfect blend of sightseeing and learning, all thanks to the wonderful team of Ayman and Jo. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience the beauty and history of Malaysia in just one day!

HUH.. Jeep Grand Cherokee costs US$290,000 in Singapore?! - We were picked up right on time at our Singapore hotel. The minivan that came had very good legroom and wide plushy seats. On the way to the border, we were shocked to see a billboard for a Jeep Grand Cherokee for more than US$290,000! We found out from our guide Putri that Singapore has the most heavily taxed cars in the world due to crazy regulatory surcharges (think it was called COE), and a normal Toyota Prius easily cost over US$140,000. This tour was a birthday treat for my husband as he wanted to see the Petronas Twin Towers Skybridge. Putri contacted us the day before, and patiently taught us how to upgrade our tickets online to the Skybridge. Putri was very kind to both of us, explained all the sites to us, helped us up and down the minivan the whole day, and she knew exactly the best spots to take photos. Putri also arranged a small birthday slice with a happy birthday song for my husband at the revolving restaurant, which came as a surprise and very much appreciated. Our driver Mr G was a very good driver, he drove safely through the day, making sure we were making good time, and most importantly, we could go up to the Skybridge on time. Mr G was very funny to offer me tissue at every bathroom stop, I asked him why, he said a previous client was very upset that the female bathroom cubicles did not have paper. The border was also very easy to cross, everything was taken care of, we just had to sit in the car and smile at the officer, that’s it. It was like driving through McDonald’s. For all the convenience in a very nice minivan and hard work of our guide Putri and our driver Mr G, we were very happy with our private tour experience, and no doubt it was well worth the money.

Great day tour into Malaysia - It was a long day but well worth it! Our driver Jovic was very friendly and drove very safely. He kept us informed of border crossings. Tour guide Amir was very full of humor and was very knowledgeable. Both men were very dedicated to their jobs, polite, and kept a strong watch for our safety. The Itinerary was just right and allowed for some flexibility like allowing time to shop. We felt that this was the best ever day tour that we took. We look forward to trying this company again and hope to be matched up with Amir and Jovic.

Excellent tour and wonderful guide - We saw everything listed on the itinerary, and our guide was also particularly skillful to change the order of the itinerary to avoid sitting in Kuala Lumpur traffic (we saw another reviewer complaining about the guide rearranging the itinerary; no idea why would anyone insist on wasting time sitting in traffic, just to stick to the order of the itinerary?). We wanted to try local food for breakfast, but my family had sensitive stomachs. Our guide arranged for us to eat at a Radisson hotel just outside of Kuala Lumpur, where there was AC, and we could comfortably try the famous local Nasi Lemak rice and noodles. There were also eggs, sausages and toast available for the kids. Our guide told us everything about Malaysia, took so many amazing photos for us, checked on us frequently, provided us umbrellas. The same reviewer who complained about rearranging the itinerary also mentioned about crowds at Batu Caves. So we asked our guide if we should visit Batu Caves first, she patiently explained to us that the big tourist buses usually come early morning to Batu Caves, and the crowds will be more manageable after most of the big tourist buses have left. We were really glad to have listened to her advice, as we saw many big tourist buses leaving when we arrived at Batu Caves in the afternoon. We also received an upgrade to a really comfortable minivan with a safe driver. It was truly a memorable tour experience that we will remember and talk about for a long time.

Unforgettable- beautiful Malaysia- we will be back! - Just finished a tour with Elmo yesterday- it was fabulous. he was knowledgeable and accommodating of our slower pace, but we still were able to see everything on our list! He knew all the “secret” places to get the best pictures! The company was very professional and we did not have any issues at all at the border. Our driver, Sir G. Was also outstanding. On the way home, it felt like we were driving through a monsoon- very scary but he was an excellent driver- felt safe the whole time! I would highly recommend this tour- Elmo was the best!!

Alert for women travelers - In overall all was good , but be prepared that total hours will be around 24 . We finished at 5 pm / we skipped breakfast, some temples and spent a lot of time on the border- huge crowded queues. Be prepared that KL tower / the most disappointing attraction- old, outdated building. The restaurant doesn’t work that price / food was untasted and some not fresh at all. Not lot people there - almost empty that mean price too high and food is decent. The most important attraction Petronas towers was only for 15 min photo break, no inside admission or tour provided. It better to sip with KL tower , And the most important things for women travelers. !!!! No one informed us and we did not have a such information that all toilet for women- NO Toilet paper AT ALL . BRING YOUR OWN TOILET PAPER OR TISSUE. Or you will be on trouble!!! The operator provided as with few tissue but that was not enough. Okay, per their tradition- it should be a bidet with water in the toilet but … in the central KL market / nothing / no paper no water inside cabin and long queue… and you must pay 0.50 cents local. No one mentioned this in their reviews / looks like people did not go to the restroom for the entire trip / good for them / but for us it was a huge problem during this trip. Overall , this trip doesn’t wort this huge cost !!! The driver and women guide were nice, good and this is not their fall / this is management problem . The want money - that all.

Worth doing if you want to visit KL - I had arrange the trip in advance with a few changes and slightly different itinerary, which we agreed in advance. Allowing a custom trip is a big advantage here. We were picked up at the hotel at 5am and the driver was early. The driver arrived in a very nice van that was really comfortable for the day trip. We then hit the first issue, as we had to go and pick up the guide from here house on the way. When you are paying this much for a daytrip, you expect the staff to arrive to meet you, especially as the drive did not speak English. The drive was uneventful and we arrived in KL for breakfast. They really need to find somewhere else to host breakfast, we stopped at a very basic hotel on the edge of the city, which did not have a good breakfast. Here things also went astray. I had agreed an itinerary and order, but they started with the mosque which I wanted to do last. This meant we got to the caves when they were already crowded, rather than going straight there. Once we got to Petronas Towers, we were able to get in earlier than our tickets. Though we should have gone for a walk first, as the guide changed the time for lunch from 4pm to 3pm without asking, so we did not have time for a walk round after doing the tower. We went to the KL tower for a late lunch. The views from here are fantastic and its well worth doing. I hope that when the new tower opens, they will include this in the tour. From here we headed back. Once again stopping to drop off the guide. While the trip itself was great and the driver was really competent and safe. However, they changed an agreed itinerary without asking and made changes without asking. Considering what I paid for this, I would have expected a lot better service.
