Great guide and delicious food. - We visited three areas and tasted Malay, Indian and Chinese cuisine. The food was delicious and the areas visited gave us a better understanding of some of the various cultures in Singapore. Most of all, our guide was fantastic. He gave us so much background on the history and culture in Singapore. He answered all of our questions and was very insightful. Highly recommend this tour!

Bring your appetite, you won’t be left hungry! - On this tour we spent time in Kampong Glam, Little India and Chinatown, where not only did Marcus treat our tastebuds but also shared insights on Singapore’s history.
The food and beverages Marcus chose for us at each stop were excellent. Marcus was a very attentive and expert guide. We highly recommend this tour. Bring your appetite, you won’t be left hungry!

Not just food, it's a culture and history tour as well - My wife and I recently did the Singapore food tour with Marcus. He was great and knowledgeable. We met him in an Arab market, and later in the day two or through Little India and Chinatown. The food was all good. The choices in food were barely basic dishes but all very tasty. Marcus gave us really great history of all of the areas that we tour through. And also took us on the subway system and taught us how to get from place to place in Singapore. He also want the extra mile, because when I booked the tour I sent him a message that I wanted to try durian and would love to go to places that serve beer. When we met Marcus he handed me a bag with four beers and a sealed package of durian in it. When we went to Little India and Chinatown he got us glasses of ice to poor our beers into.
If you book this tour I would recommend doing it at the beginning of your trip because the knowledge you will learn will help you make decisions of where to go on the remaining days of your trip.

Great food tour! - Our food tour with Grayson, our tour guide, was great! We not only learned about food culture but also learned a lot about Singapore history and mores. Grayson was very friendly and personable! Highly recommended!

Best experience tour with Marcus - Best food tour in Singapore with my guide Marcus. Really very imformstive plenty of good food and drinks. If asking me how many star to give to marcus, I would give him 5 star, Thanks marcus for all the food drinks tour informstion and how to travel on public train system in singapord

Best tour ever during my holiday in singapore - My guide is Marcus today for 3 hours 10 food tasting tour was amazing, food was fantastic and full of knowledge of Singapore culture in 3 different district of Singapore, Marcus was a vary informative and caring guide. This must to do in Singapore or you will regret it

A fantastic introduction to Singapore - We went on the "10 Tastings of Singapore" food tour with Arthur in February 2025. From the moment we booked it, we were impressed with Arthur. Within minutes we received messages from him with details about the tour and explaining that to get the best out of the experience, it might take longer than the stated 3 hours. We also received information about places to go, ways to get around Singapore and other really useful information.
The tour included Arab Street, Little India and Chinatown and not only included lots of very lovely food, but also lessons on using the buses and the MRT and loads and loads of history.
Arthur picked us up from our hotel lobby and left us at the end of the tour about 5 hours later, tired, much more knowledgable about this wonderful city, and very full!
To be thoroughly recommended

my guide marcus singapore 10 tasting food tour - marcus was the best 10 tasting tour guide. he gave us so many food and drinks. plenty of information about singapore culture, public transport, subway like mrt, place to place we visited. me and my wife enjoyed the full three hours tour. thank u marcus for the excellent service and tour

Disappointed - This was not what we expected, the tour guide spoke about the local area more than the food we where looking forward to trying, a lot of walking from one place to another so again the food was not the main attraction. This was very expensive for what you get would not recommend.

Best for a group, not a single traveler - I would not suggest doing this tour if you are a single traveler. I paid $255 for the experience. I was not met by the scheduled guide but by a substitute he sent because he was ill. We met at a coffee shop where I purchased my own beverage and at our first stop I ordered a mango lassi with the food. After this my guide told me it was over budget and I would only get 7 tastes. Which seems ridiculous because I could not eat food for four people, and if the beverage was over budget I should have been told when I ordered it. We did visit 3 neighborhoods, but the areas were not explained or described to me. I saw the wet market then was taken to a large market for Indian sari’s which I was not interested in buying, though I was told many other tourists liked to buy these garments. I did not get to taste satay or chili crab, which were two food items I had hoped to try. They were not “in the budget” but the guide did tell me where I could go to taste those items. The tour I experienced was not customizable, and buying food in quantities for 4 people when I was only one, was a waste of my money. I would have appreciated a guide who was more knowledgeable about the neighborhoods we were in and who took me to see some highlights.
