Cannot miss this tour - Our host was very knowledgeable and accommodating. My mother was vegetarian, and our host tried to accommodate her as much as possible and went out of her way to make sure that my (older) parents were comfortable. Highly recommend!

Eating our way through Singapore - Ping, our tour guide was amazing. We learned a great deal about the history and culture of Singapore while eating our way through the country. Ping took pictures of everything g for us during the tour so that we didn’t have to. We have more pictures of us as a couple from this tour than any tour we have ever been on

Great tour to explore the cultures of Singapore - Ping was our guide and we had a wonderful time exploring Little India, Kampong Glam and Chinatown. She contacted me the day before to ask what our group would be interested in. During the tour, everything was well arranged as Ping had two assistants who would go ahead of us to arrange the table and order the food. Ping was extremely knowledgeable and explained very clearly the culture of the different ethnic groups in Singapore and the history of the country. If you book this tour, make sure you ask for Ping as your guide.

Excellent Guide, Wonderful Insight into Singapore's History & Culture! - I took the 2.5-hour complimentary Guided Heritage Tour as part of the Free Singapore Tours by Changi Airport during a long layover(13 hours). My tour started at 6pm and we were back at the airport at 8.30pm. This tour was conducted by Monster Day Tours in collaboration with Changi Airport. To qualify for this tour, you have to be a passenger transiting through the Changi Airport and have a minimum layover time of 5.5 hours. You also need to store your carry-on luggage at a luggage storage facility within the airport for a fee. Nobody is allowed to bring any carry-on luggage to participate in the tours. You also have to make sure that you have a visa to enter Singapore, because you will be clearing immigration and customs to participate in these tours. All participants will need to fill up the Singapore Arrival Card(SGAC) online before you are allowed to sign-up for the tours. Although the tour started at 6pm, we had to report to the Free Singapore Tours desk in Terminal 3 or Terminal 2 of Changi Airport 45 minutes prior to 6pm. Once everyone who is registered has gathered together next to the desk, the tour guide would do a role-call, calling out every person's name on the participants list. After that, he would guide us through the immigration and customs. Once we are outside, we are ushered onto a bus and our tour begins! The Heritage Tour took us to 2 spots: Singapore's Chinatown & Kampung Glam(The Muslim area of Singapore). This tour allowed us to get off the bus and walk around these 2 areas for a short while, buy some souvenirs, buy some drinks or snacks, take lots of photos, before meeting up at the appointed spot at the appointed time and getting back on board the bus to return to the airport. Our guide for this Heritage Tour was K.K. and he is a marvelous tour guide. He told us the history of the 3 different main races that make up Singapore today, where they originated from, how they arrived in Singapore and how they contribute to Singapore's demographics and economy today. It was a fascinating lesson about the rich history and culture of this small and yet powerful island-nation in South East Asia! This was just a brief introduction to Singapore. For more in-depth tours into Singapore's history and culture, you will have to stay for a week or more here! I highly recommend this tour to all first-time visitors to Singapore!
