• Gitgit Waterfall - Our first stop is Gitgit Waterfall, which is a 4-hour drive away. Some of you might not be familiar with Gitgit Waterfall, but it is a popular tourist destination in North Bali. Located in Buleleng, this waterfall is perfect for adventure and nature lovers. It stands as the main attraction in the area, with a height of around 35 meters and surrounded by tropical trees. Prepare to be amazed by the stunning views of Gitgit Waterfall. You might also encounter wild monkeys drinking from the waterfall, but be cautious as they may try to steal your belongings. Among the five waterfalls in Buleleng, Gitgit Waterfall is the most popular due to its easy accessibility. On your way to Gitgit Waterfall, you’ll pass by coffee plantations, rice fields, souvenir shops, and food stalls. The atmosphere is fresh, peaceful, and natural. We will spend about 1 hour here.
• Wanagiri Hidden Hills - Next, we head to Wanagiri Hidden Hills, which is a 1-hour drive away. Bali is renowned not only for its beautiful beaches but also for its natural attractions, and Wanagiri Hill is one of them. Also known as Hidden Hill Wanagiri, this stunning location is in Wanagiri, Sukasada. The name Wanagiri comes from the Balinese words “Wana” meaning forest and “Giri” meaning hill, together translating to “hill of forest.” The popularity of this place skyrocketed after it was introduced to the public a few years ago. It is a romantic spot for couples. Many tourists, both local and international, visit Wanagiri Hill to enjoy the breathtaking views of Buyan Lake and Tamblingan Lake, also known as the Twin Lakes due to their close proximity. You can admire the beauty of the Twin Lakes from the hilltop viewpoint. We will spend about 1 hour here.
• Ulun Danu Bratan Temple - Our next destination is Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, a 30-minute drive away. This temple is a must-visit in Bali and should not be missed. Located in the middle of Beratan Lake, its unique location and architectural design make it stand out. Another fascinating aspect of Ulun Danu Beratan Temple is that the lake is situated on the edge of a large crater. The surrounding views are exceptionally beautiful. Established in 1556, Ulun Danu Beratan is an ancient and sacred temple in Bali. It was built to honor Ida Batari Dewi Ulun Danu, the goddess who protects Beratan Lake, and is named after her. The temple also serves as a place of worship for the three main gods of Balinese Hinduism: Brahma, Vishnu, and Siva. Inside the temple, you will see several Merus or pagodas. We will spend about 30 minutes here.
• Pasar Candi Kuning - Our final stop is Candi Kuning Traditional Market, located near the entrance of the Botanical Garden, a 30-minute drive away. This market offers fresh fruits, vegetables, spices, and exotic flowers like delicate orchids and roses, all beautifully displayed in a colorful array. Spices include nutmeg, pepper, paprika, and turmeric. A wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables are available, including pomelo and durian. You can also find many types of souvenirs and traditional snacks to take home to family and friends. At the back of the market, there are rows of plant and flower vendors, and several restaurants surround the market where you can eat and rest. Candi Kuning Market is open from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. We will spend 30 minutes here before our driver takes you back to the hotel, which will take about 3 hours.
