- Cabo da Roca - We visit and stop at Cabo da Roca. the westernmost point in mainland Europe, a astonishing cliff with inspiring views. we stop there, talk a bit about the location and have a taste of a typical Portuguese liqueur (Ginja) or port wine. its pictures time.
- Guincho Beach - We drive by Guincho beach and the Atlantic west coast. its a beautiful drive, heading to Cascais, on a protected natural-park, famous for its wild and pristine condition. one of the best moments of the day. driving on the seaside, on an open-top vintage jeep with some great tunes playing. a moment to cherish for the rest of life.

Our journey will take us to the enigmatic Quinta da Regaleira and includes a traditional Portuguese lunch (with wine included) before we venture off-road through the vibrant greenery of Sintra’s forests, eventually appearing at the cliff-side shores of Europe’s westernmost point, Cabo da Roca. We’ll move from fortress-topped hills to the stunning coastline of the UNESCO world heritage landscape, guiding you to uncharted viewpoints and secluded beaches. In summer, you can take in the air rushing past as we zip along unpaved paths with the roof off. During cooler weather, we keep the roof intact, crank up the tunes, and dodge mammoth rough boulders, pine woodlands, and imposing ferns in mud-filled pits. With off-road thrills, playing all-time favorite tracks, and an opportunity to try Sintra’s iconic sweet pastry and Port wine, it’s an unbeatable mix of adventure, fun, and folklore. Amazing Off-Road Tour in Sintra - Our off-road Jeep tour through Sintra was nothing short of spectacular! From start to finish, the experience was packed with breathtaking views, authentic Portuguese culture, and a whole lot of fun.
The highlight of the tour was undoubtedly our guide, Andres. His passion, knowledge, and humor made the journey feel like an adventure with a longtime friend. He shared fascinating insights into the history and beauty of Sintra while keeping the energy high and the group engaged the entire time.
The off-road portions of the tour took us through hidden trails and scenic backroads that we would never have discovered on our own. The landscapes were jaw-dropping — forests, cliffs, and postcard-perfect viewpoints.
We stopped for a traditional Portuguese meal that was amazing— rich, flavorful, and authentically local. It felt like a home-cooked meal in the best way. To top it off, we enjoyed some truly fantastic port wine.
This tour is a must-do if you're visiting Portugal. It offers a unique way to experience the region beyond the typical tourist paths. Five stars for the unforgettable ride, the amazing Andres, the incredible food, and those unbeatable views!

Best Day Trip - We had an amazing time on the tour with our guide Guilherme! He made the tour fun and we all agreed that we would recommend this tour to everyone and it was one of our favorite days of the whole trip!

Fun day with Bruno in Sintra! - My parents and I had such a fun day with Bruno during our Sintra Jeep Safari! He was so kind and patient with my parents, making sure they were comfortable throughout the day. Bruno is very knowledgeable; you can really tell he loves Portugal and sharing it with everyone he meets. Thank you so much for helping me make memories with my parents and having us learn more about Portugal's interesting history. We will remember it forever.

Super special- top notch!! The Best!! - Probably the best tour we have ever done. Paulo and Gi were our guides, and we can’t say enough about this amazing day. Sintra was beautiful, Pena Palace was spectacular, and we got a private view of a beachside spot on our off road trip that was AMAZING!! So great from start to finish. Our guides were friendly, kind, smart, fun and full of knowledge. They were so amazing in every way! We had a great day- the lunch, oh… it was so delicious, special and authentic. You MUST do this tour. I honestly have no words for how great it was. It really made our trip! Thank you so much!!

Such a Fantastic and FUN day!! - First of all, thank you to our amazing guide John. He truly made this day a memorable one. This was a fantastic and really FUN day full of palaces, beautiful gardens, off-roading in a UMM, beaches, a wonderful lunch with warm hospitality and Cabo Da Roca. 6 hours of pure awe and adrenaline. I can't imagine any better way to see and do all the things we did. We highly recommend John and the FlaminGO team!

A phenomenal adventure exploring Sintra! - Our FlaminGO Experience was one of the best experiences my wife and I had throughout our honeymoon. Our new Portuguese friend, Mario, took us and our group around Sintra to show us the beautiful castles and countryside where he grew up. Through Mario sharing his local perspective of the area throughout our stops, we were able to have such a personal experience as we explored our different stops throughout the day.
Not only did we see a number of beautiful spots that we didn't anticipate, but we also had the flexibility to shift our initial plans, so that we could avoid standing and waiting in hour long lines at some of the tourist "hotspots".
For our lunch, the local Portuguese cuisine and wine were some of the best food that we had on our trip.
We truly couldn't have been happier with our experience with FlaminGO and were sad to go when we came to the end of our day. If you are looking to explore Sintra and are up for a great adventure, we highly recommend booking a FlaminGO Experience!
