What an epic afternoon tour! - This half-day tour to Sintra and Cascais was an utter highlight of my current ~4 weeks travel. Américo was an outstanding guide throughout, showing me many 'off-the-beaten-track' (be sure to try the Port tasting and sunset at Cascais lighthouse) with a real depth of knowledge with the stylings of an expert raconteur. What sets him apart is his engagement and very real interest in seeing tourists see the very best of wonderful Lisbon. I cannot recommend him highly enough. For anyone looking for an excellent experience of a tour around amazing Lisbon, Américo is your guide.

If you enjoy castles and... - If you enjoy castles and the surrounding lands, excellent trip. Be aware, it rains often, even when the sun is shining is Lisbon or Cascais. Traffic from Lisbon is about an hour each way

Half day in heaven! - We went on a half day trip to Sintra and Cascais. Absolutely gorgeous scenery throughout the drive and the places that we visited were outstanding. Carlos was our driver and guide. He is a superb conversationalist and told us so much about the places we visit, as well as about Portugese lifestyle, history and most importantly, made sure we tasted the Sintra pillows - you have to taste it to believe how divine it tastes!!! Highly recommended to go on this tour if you are tight on time and please do ask for Carlos!

Pena palace half day - Carlos was knowledgeable and a wonderful driver. Good idea to buy tickets in advance with transport and check in with ushers to ensure you don’t needlessly wait on a long line. They adhere to times on ticket but there may be a number on people ahead on the queue with later times.

Perfect half day trip. - Carlos was a lovely guide who tailored the half day to what we wanted. We loved both Palaces and never felt rushed.
