Afternoon in Sintra - Had a great relaxing afternoon visiting Sintra with my husband and Miguel our driver. Miguel was very patient and considerate of our pace when stopping for pictures or wanting to stay in a particular spot longer. We the stopped at a Cafe for coffee & Portuguese treats. I would highly recommend Miguel. His wealth of knowledge regarding Portugal history was impressive.

Beautiful trip to a beautiful place! - We had a really great day with Margarita! She was prompt, full of information, and so kind to our daughter on her birthday! She helped us find local places and hidden gems.Thank you for the amazing lunch recommendation and fun day! Note about Pena palace...buy your tickets in advance and include the transfer to the top, it's a steep climb! The tour inside is interesting but you move in a straight line, and it's slow...there aren't many chances to go at your own pace. I'm glad we went inside, but it won't be for everyone. The most breathtaking parts are the outside of the palace and the views from the terraces.

Great private tour - Our guide George was amazing! He speaks perfectly English and is able to provide all kinds of historical details regarding the area. The whole ride was very pleasant and friendly. I recommend him to everyone!

Great guide and trip - Really interesting trip and just enough time to see everything. Phillipe our guide was friendly and knowledgable and I would recommend. Wear trainers as very hilly .

Very worthwhile visit to Pena Palace - We had a wonderful visit to Sintra with our guide Miguel. He was able to share a lot of interesting history about Pena Palace during the drive and even walked with us through the palace, adding details to our experience. He really enriched our visit and we would recommend this tour.

Spectacular castle - A beautiful spot with a wonderful tour guide. This castle does not disappoint. Amazing to think a king and queen lived here.

A must experience! - Our guide, George, was fantastic. From the time he picked us up, he provided information about Lisbon and the surrounding towns. He had suggestions for other “must sees” and even gave us a boat ride suggestion for our next few days in the Algarve. He gave us plenty of time at Pena Palace and Sintra to see everything we wanted to see and even had some of Sintras famous pastries waiting for us in the van after our tour. He made the afternoon visit to Sintra so pleasant and easy!

Great Experience - Miquel of Fantastic Rides was an excellent guide. We could not have navigated through the day without him. He added a great deal to the experience with his knowledge and friendliness. The Palace was beyond our expectations in terms of its beauty.

Beautiful place in the clouds! - Our guide Miguel was the right mix between personable and professional - 5 stars for him! He was very knowledgeable and given it was rainy, he did his best to drop us as close as possible and even bought us an umbrella!! Some more information ahead of the trip would have been useful - e.g. that Sintra has its own microclimate and jackets/umbrelllas are advised.
