Awesome Experience - Our guide was simply the best. Best experience we ever had. Pena Palace is unique and eclectic - getting there early was key as it filled up as we were finishing. We had plenty of empty space around us without crowds, waiting or rush. Get there at opening time. Knowing and understanding the history of the Wishing Well at Regaleira makes it a sublime and personal experience. The Moorish Castle was awe inspiring as we had a clear view and then experienced a fog rolling in - made us imagine the daily experience of guards standing along the wall. The town of Sintra is full of quaint shops and very nice, welcoming people. Recommend 5 star to anyone looking to get away from the ordinary.

Fairy Tale Visit to the Past - Simone was a wonderful tour guide and she made the day feel relaxing and stress free. Very well timed and not rushed through each site. Very knowledgeable and enjoyable tour.

Visit to Sintra - Our trip to Sintra was one of the real highlights of our trip to Portugal. The Pena Palace, Moorish Castle, and Regaleira were all amazing sites to visit but the thing that really made our trip special was our guide, Simone Silva. She adjusted the tour to the needs of our group of six. We all had different interests and different physical abilities and limitations, and she did a marvelous job accommodating all of that. She was extremely knowledgeable but did not overwhelm us with her knowledge. She was flexible, fun, and insightful. I would highly recommend this tour and strongly encourage anyone taking it to request Simone as a guide.

Wow! Sintra is epctacular! - Our tour guide Miguel was wonderful.. Sintra is a magical place. Having our own private tour was amazing. Miguel provided ua with so much knowledge and insight to the Peña Palace, the moorish castle were amazing. We had a great day.

Personal touch - The personal touch and extra care that was given to me by our tour guide Rui. He made sure to make it easier for my back problems. He was great. His knowledge combined with his personal childhood memories made it even more engaging.

Beautuful day in Sintra with Rui - Rui made our day in Sintra extra special and so worth it. We were able to see everything in one day. Both palaces and the castle. He gave special attention to my bad back by going out of his way to make it easier. His knowledge and personal stories from his childhood made the tour so much more engaging. A private tour is worth every penny. We saw people still in line to enter after we finished our two hour tour. We all loved our day and especially loved the best pastry shop in Portugal he introduced us to. Thank you Rui for making today extra special.
