Quinta da Regaleira and Sintra visit half day private tour - Enjoyable day out. Very helpful tour guide. We were collected from port and taken to Sintra village and Castle grounds. Our guide gave relevant information in bite sizes and dropped us back to the ship. Gratefull

Exactly as described - David was a warm, young host who worked like clockwork. Picked up at 9am and we arrived back to the hotel at 1pm on the dot. David is not a tour guide that talks like a history script, so you’re free to ask as many questions as you like or just stay quiet when preferred. We had one of the busiest days David had seen at Quinta da Regaleira so a long line to go through and the Sintra staff really rush you. (Which is no reflection on this tour, just something to be aware of - don’t expect a lot of time for photos inside in peak season). If you have limited time this is a great option to see Sintra town and Quinta da Regaleira. If you’ve never been to Sintra before I would suggest ask them about the full day tour instead.

Terrific private tour - the only way to go! - Luis was amazing! Super knowledgeable, very professional but friendly, and patient. He even took pictures of us on his phone and sent them via WhatsApp immediately. He was a super driver and made sure we were able to see, hear about, and take pictures at all of the important historical locations. Highly recommend!!!!

Interesting, well paced and enjoyable tour - Great trip, Luis was on time, friendly and knowledgeable and gave us the option of where to be dropped off after so we got a bonus trip to Cascais. Highly recommend

So worth the visit! - Diogo was a great tour guide! He was able to show us a lot in the 4 hours we were with him. Would recommend this trip if you are looking to do only Quinta de Regaleira and a short visit to Sintra. We scheduled this tour because we did not get to see this when went to the Pena Palace. So worth the visit!

Percurso à Regaleira que jamais chegou à Regaleira! ! - The so-called private tour of a Regaleira never made it to a Regaleira! By the time our guide parked his car, and we walked all the way across Sintra to a Regaleira, we discovered that there were no more tickets for the 3:30 tour, and that the next tour wasn't until 5 pm, too late for me and my son. So the whole purpose of the trip was defeated. The guide, Diogo, took us to see the Moorish Castle instead, which as better than nothing. But this was clearly a failure of organization on the part of Viator if not also of the guide. If this is any indication of how well or poorly Viator is organized and prepared, then I would NOT recommend using thie company!!
