- Park and National Palace of Pena - This is one of the most visited palaces. Located on top of the hill and with amazing views over the region and the Moorish castle, this 19th-century palace has a lot to explore. See how the kings and queens lived in its interior and visit the exuberant gardens. This palace may be overcrowded so that it can be difficult to visit the interior, depending on the group’s decision, you can visit another palace instead.

Join us on a fascinating journey of exploration where we will unfold the splendors of Sintra and Cascais. Beginning with its grand palaces and fortresses, nestled within lush gardens, Sintra’s beauty accompanied by the breath-taking coastline will leave you spellbound.
Upon exploring Sintra and two landmarks of your preference, we offer an opportunity to dine at a local restaurant. Post lunch, our voyage continues to the enchanting coastline to explore Azenhas do Mar and Adraga beaches. Our excursion heads through off-beaten tracks to reach the most breath-taking viewing spot in the region, a hidden marvel typically inaccessible to most. We then proceed to the Roca Cape, the westernmost point of mainland Europe, a location favored by numerous tourists. Traversing smoother terrains, we journey along the coastline, passing by Guincho beach and Boca do Inferno till we arrive at the beachside town of Cascais.

Leo gave us our best day in Portugal!! - Leo took us to see sights we had read about but never dreamed that we would see. He helped get tickets and was very attentive about our wishes, needs and priorities. Leo has a wealth of information and history in his head and heart and the day spent with him was our best day in Portugal. I highly recommend Leo if you’re going to Sintra.

Good!!! - Very good =) Sintra tours are great for family and also solo trips, a fairy tale corner of the world =) and also there is small bar just in front of the station where to find good good friends! Best of lucks!

A great day! - Leo met us when got off the train in Sintra. He gave us his pitch on his tour without being pushy and stepped aside for us to discuss. Best decision we could have made was saying “let’s do it”. Leo was very knowledgeable and obviously very passionate about Portugal He knew the short cuts and helped us get our tickets for the Pena Palace when we stopped for snacks and a water. He explained our options at each stop. He seemed to know everyone, which was very helpful when our group ended up in the wrong parking lot at one time. When another tour guide asked if we needed a ride we told him we are with Leo but made a wrong turn - he says Leo with the silver Jeep - I know him let me call. We made 6 or seven stops including a wonderful lunch at an out of the way hole in the wall cafe that was outstanding. Without any doubt if you are in sintra - look for Leo. He is the best.

Wonderful day in Sintra! - Leo found us as we got off the train in Sintra & we are so thankful! His tour was incredible. He is very knowledgeable about the sights and history of his country, especially in this area! We would highly recommend booking any tour with Leo!!

To do with Leo - Experience to be had, Leo is very nice and even if he doesn't speak Italian well he gets along perfectly. We left from Lisbon so we didn't have to take the train. At the Palacio de Pena Leo rightly advised us to see the Chalet (very beautiful) unfortunately the internal bus was stopped and we also took the wrong road... climbing the mountain was quite tiring. Don't miss Capo de Roca and the famous castle with the Regaleira spiral staircase. An intense but very pleasant day, worth doing!

Great way to see sintra - Leo is a wonderful tour guide. Great way to see Sintra from someone who is from there. Get to see sights from the off road vehicle that you couldn’t from a normal tour. We stopped for an amazing local traditional lunch .. saw beautiful coastlines. Highly recommend

Amazing Day Trip - Leo is such an amazing historian and guide. You feel as though you are with your brother or friend. If you have a specific place on the way that you would like to visit, whether a church or specific cafe’ he will drop by so you can take a picture or a bite. Very easy going and passionate about his tour. Great trip! Thank you Leo

Incredibly fun way to experience Sintra. Don’t miss out. - Leo was a great host and made our trip to Sintra as easy as possible. As a native of Sintra he had amazing historical and personal stories to share that made the experience so much more than just a tour.
Above all, the views we got to see via 4x4 access was beyond expectations. Just hang on during the bumpy parts…

BOOK THIS ASAP - We did not know what to expect when going to Sintra. When we met Leo outside of a train station, we didn’t expect for him to change our lives. You will not meet another person who knows the area better than Leo. Listen to this man and go where he says and I promise you won’t have any regrets. He took us to the best view we have ever seen and many other incredible spots we were not expecting. He even gave us great food recommendations. By the end of the tour we had so many great memories we would have not experienced on any other tour. Book this tour right now.

Your go-to guy in Sintra - Leo is your best friend in Sintra! Where to park, what to eat, how to buy tickets, how to get there, all of the secret beaches, hidden gems, the best of the best --- Leo is in the know! If you don't want to be one of the herd of tourists doing the same thing, but still want to experience the best of what Sintra and the surrounding area has to offer--- it is worth your time and what that time costs you to book a tour. You will not regret it! He definitely made our day worth it 10/10 --- would recommend.
