Off the beaten pat near Lisboa (Lisbon) - Great tour of beautiful spots near Lisbon. Our driver was so informed, helpful and friendly. Awesome - Viator communicated with us early on to purchase the Pena Palace tickets. Our tour guide, Jorge also sent us a text early to let us know to buy the transport tickets in Pena Palace. He had a really nice car, and gave us clear directions when we walked around Sintra and Cascais.

Great visit to Sintra and Cascais - Tour guide Americo was very knowledgeable and friendly. He pointed out areas of interest as we drove and gave us time to explore a bit on our own. He had vast information of Portugal's history and was well versed in Americans influence and politics. It was a wonderful tour!

Glad we extended our tour. - Americo provided a great day of touring in Lisbon. He was very knowledgeable and personable. He took us to many sites and let us move at a leisurely pace. He took us to an amazing restaurant overlooking the Atlantic. I would highly recommend extending your half day tour to take advantage of seeing the sites at a leisurely pace.

Si era/CaCais tour - Everything was great. The driver señor Sebastian really enjoyed providing details about his city and country of Lisbon and Portugal. He even recommended a great restaurant to have dinner. Luis at Pena Palace tour guide also provided valuable insight into the palace history, world class service. Made our trip to Lisbon even more enjoyable

Disappointed that we did not get to experience Pena palace - Our private tour guide, Luis was very nice, knowledgeable, personable and professional. The Mercedes van was very comfortable. Luis even stopped by bakery and bought us special pastries which we could not get in Sintra because of long lines. However, the picture of the tour is of pena palace which we did not see at all. We had to buy separate tickets for that but Luis said the 1/2 day tour would not allow for that. So do not get this 1/2 day tour - you will just sit in a car and drive through the towns. Honestly, i would have loved to stay in Sintra over night . It is a very special magical village but this half day tour does not allow enough time to experience any of it.

Bad and intimidating guide - Not enough time to do tour that is described. You cannot do a tour of Pena palace in time. Guide didn’t manage to spend any time with us touring as said he needed to stay with car. Also, tried to sell us extra time by explaining we wouldn’t see anything we wanted, then changed price at end of tour and was intimidating! Would not recommend this at all.

Guide was terrible.. wouldn’t bring us back to the ship when asked! - Sadly we don’t have any! Driver tried to sell us extra time @$60/hr 3 minutes after we were in the car saying aviator doesn’t sell the tours properly.. with enough time to enjoy the experience. But getting to Sintra.. there was some Ty if time to take us to a port wine shop belonging to his friends to get us buzzed.. wasting precious sightseeing time. I asked to return to the ship and he would not bring us back ..claiming to be trying to make things better. Again I asked to return to the ship.. and again he did not listen to us. Use aviator alot around the world and this was our first horrible experience with their guides.
