Half a Day, three very different places. - The history behind Sintra is fascinating. Our guide, Goncalvo was excellent at pointing out the many features, even stopping to poo t out his favourite sweet pastry shop. Cabo de Roca was interesting, but Cascais was a pretty little town. Very clean with nice beaches. Overall a very good half day spent!

A lovely afternoon getting out of Lisbon!! - We really enjoyed our tour with Luis. He was very kind and helpful. He was clear with us about how much time we had at each location and picked us up and dropped us off along the way. It was a great way to see a lot of places and cover a lot of territory in a short amount of time.

Great tour of Sintra and Cabo da Roca - We took a half day tour (4 hours) of Cascais, Sintra and Cabo da Roca. We drove to Sintra and our guide gave us time to explore as long as we wanted (up to an hour). Recommended a couple places. We stopped to get a Portuguese pastry that was very good! He was very knowable about the area! Then we went to Cabo da Roca and spent time there. He drove us along the Atlantic coastline and showed us a couple cool places only locals would know about. Also drove to Cascais. Wish we would have stopped to explore a few min in the town of Cascais. Very beautiful area! He did drop us off a a store to buy my husband a new razor. We arrived back at hotel a little early! Overall a great tour!

A Day in Paradise! - The best tour for us and just what we wanted! Goncalo was funny, knowledgeable of the area as well as the history of the sights that we saw and very personable. He kept us out of the crowds and moved us along at the perfect pace. The tour picked us up at our hotel in Cascais and it was just the two of us. The van was comfortable and Goncalo drove us through the narrow streets and traffic professionally. Since we did not want to enter either the Palaces or the castle, we were more interested in the nature around them, Goncalo walked some trails with us pointing out interesting sights and historical facts. We were very lucky to see Cabo da Roca and Boca do Inferno on a day when they were most spectacular with storms at sea. We ended up our day at a beautiful oceanside restaurant recommended by Goncalo. We highly recommend this tour and hopefully you will be able to get Goncalo as your guide!

Worst tour ever!!!! - We were totally disappointed. This 4 hour tour was only 2 hours and when it came time to see what is advertised in Viator website we didn’t see anything!! The supposed guide sat in his car and told us to walk for 20 minutes. This happened one time. The guide did not guide at all and we didn’t see any of the sites AT ALL. I was really looking forward to this tour and splurged on a private guided tour.

The tour guide Spanish was very basic and his - The tour guide was very unenthusiastic and seemed very uninterested, he did not know how to drive stick shift making the drive to places very unenjoyable. The actual places were very pretty but they were really short, the guide made it seem as if he wanted to leave quickly.
