Sintra - On this whole-day adrenaline-pumping journey. We’ve been exploring this crazy beautiful and mysterious mountain landscape since we could slip past mum’s watchful eyes. So trust us that to really know Sintra you have to go beyond the walls of its many palaces. That said, it would be rude to drive past the UNESCO World Heritage town and not share a saucy story or two before we dive into the forest.
From untouched lakes to ancient hilltop convents, we’ll pull up at the coolest hidden gems and chase non-stop adventure in Sintra-Cascais Natural Park. In summer, feel the breeze whip your hair as we crawl and bounce along dirt tracks with the roof off. In the cooler months we keep the roof on, turn the music up (real loud) and splash through puddles of mud as we swerve past house-sized boulders, pine forests and giant ferns.
After a damn good lunch at a cheap-and-cheerful village restaurant we’ll direct our 4×4 chariot for the coastline. Feel the sand beneath your feet and dive into the cool, salty sea (if you dare). Our secret beach is surrounded by incredible soaring cliffs. Before the day wraps up, we’ll head for the edge of the earth (or at least Europe) and snap a Polaroid memory.

However, it would be discourteous to bypass the UNESCO World Heritage town without indulging in some racy anecdotes before we immerse ourselves in the woods.\n\nOur refurbished vintage military-inspired 4WDs not only possess a ruggedly cool appearance, but they’re also the prime mode of transport to negotiate the rugged terrain of the wild west. Our coveted secret trails not found on any map will guide us to secluded natural and man-made monuments that evade the usual tourist crowd. From pristine lakes to historical convents perched on hills, we’ll stop at the hottest secret spots and pursue ceaseless adventure in the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park.

Breathtaking Views, Great Food, Amazing Company - We went all around Sintra, taking in the beautiful views of all the palaces, castles, hills, beaches, and cliffs around the area. Nelson gave a detailed background on big sites and included small details about the region on why trees were brought in, history of cork trees, etc. His entertaining descriptions and great suggestions for what to do and when helped us really take in all the beauty in a relaxed but fun experience.
Would highly recommend to others and friends.

Unique experience seeing Sintra and the coast - If you want to explore the beauty of Sintra and the coastline with a lovely lunch along the way, then this is your tour. We had the pleasure of spending the day with Mario who shared the history of Sintra, toured us through the Quinta da Regaleira, brought us to a wonderful lunch, and then stopped at a local beach before off roading up to the cliffs overlooking the ocean. Last we stopped at Cabo de Raco, the westernmost point in Europe for beautiful views. All of this while driven around in a 1980s jeep.
A unique experience with a wonderful guide. Highly recommend.

EPIC Tour includes a little bit of everything for everyone - Book this EPIC tour. Mario was knowledgable and engaging as our tour guide. The history, beauty and taste of castles, coastline and cuisine made it well worth twice as much.

Off roading dream - This trip was a last minute booking after spending a couple days exploring around Sintra and really wanting to get out on to the trails and to the coast. I had Rueben as a guide and he was amazing, shared a lot of information, was easy going, and great to get a long with. An experience I would definitely complete again or another tour by the company!

Had the best day in Sintra! - Had the best time on the Jeep tour. Got to meet new friends from all over the world, and they brought us to see the beautiful palaces and beaches. Highly recommend!

Don’t hesitate! Book it! - If you are thinking about booking this tour, don't hesitate, and do it. I was worried that my mom wasn't going to enjoy this tour because she is a bit more timid, but to my surprise, this was her favorite tour we have done in our 12 days of Europe. Ruben deserves all the high praise. He treated us just like family. He showed us all of the amazing spots and gave us all of the history of the areas we went to and then more.
From going to the castle, driving down the roads, seeing the beach, enjoying the coast of the beach, stopping at the most western point of continental Europe, and much, much more. I cannot recommend this tour enough, and it is all thanks to Ruben. This was a tour of a lifetime.

Keep tour of Sintra area - If you’re considering this tour, book it! It was one of our all time favorites, plus a favorite day of our entire stay in Portugal and Spain. Takes you to cool places you certainly wouldn’t otherwise see, great restaurant, lots to learn about the area. And our guide, Andres was amazing!

Epic Adventure - Our tour guide Nelson was absolutely amazing. He took us to great sights and was extremely knowledgeable and informative about everything we were passing and visiting. He made our tour better than expected. We loved the pastries he brought and the stop for lunch was delicious. He took the time to tailor the tour to exactly what my partner and I were interested in. I would recommend this tour to everyone. The only thing I would mention is that we unfortunately did not get our Polaroid picture that’s mentioned in the description, but we totally forgot until after we left the tour. Nelson took a great picture of us on my phone.

Such an amazing experience - I proposed and she said yes! - Wow, what an amazing time. This was my 2nd time doing a tour with this company and I was not disappointed. Such amazing service.
Also, it's important to mention, they helped me PROPOSE TO MY GIRLFRIEND!!
They took us to this amazing part of the cliffs near Sintra, and helped me propose to her. She said yes of course.
They even helped me with the photographer arrangements. These guys are true professionals and will stop at nothing for you to have an amazing experience, which is exactly what we had.
