Everyone in the family said “best day of our vacation!” Miguel’s knowledge of local history was great! - Did the full day Sintra tour from Lisbon. Miguel was right on time for our hotel pickup and very personable. He was easy to chat with from the get go and I knew it was going to be a great day. His sense of humor and his detailed knowledge of local history made for a special day. I know he does these tours probably more times that he can count, which could easily come off as being tired and bored of it. But not Miguel. He kept us engaged the whole day and made us feel like we were the most important thing going on. He expertly navigated the crowds and had a great plan in place for maximizing our day. So grateful for his attention to detail and I hope he takes great pride in being such a professional. Worth every penny to do this trip. Thanks again Miguel!

Our tour guide Susanna... - Our tour guide Susanna was absolutely wonderful. She knows a lot about Sintra and was able to make the best use of our time. She had a smile for everyone and was very enthusiastic about sharing her knowledge. Sintra is a beautiful place to visit. We visited Pena Palace, the Moorish Castle, and Quinta da Regaleira. I would highly recommend visiting each one. This was easily one of the best tours I have ever been on.

Great Tour Guide - Joao was an incredible guide during our time in Portugal. He was extremely informative, and we learned so much about Portugal's history. He was very knowledgeable, personable, and gave us great recommendations on places to see and eat, etc. We had him two days in a row for two different experiences, and we would recommend him highly!

An unforgettable day - We had a wonderful time with Joao as our guide. Due to the excessive heat we pivoted a bit and went to cascais instead of the moorish castle. So, we started with Pena palace which was wonderful. Then went to downtown Sintra for a tasty treat to refuel for the Quinta da Regaleira. That was an impressive place. We then got back into the car went to the furthest point west in Europe for a quick picture and then had a wonderful lunch by the ocean and a quick stroll in Cascais. It was a wonderful and unforgettable day. I would highly recommend.

Enjoyed our tour around Sintra! - Our family of five (3 young adult kids) had a really fun day touring Sintra! The palace and castle were beautiful. Our guide, Simone, was so knowledgeable, funny and kind. She made us comfortable right away and had everything so organized for us. She held the tickets, no long lines and knew exactly what to do which made it easy for us to just enjoy. Thanks to her we knew what we were looking at. :) Highly recommend.

Wonderful experience thanks to topclass guide Miquel Alves - We had a great time in Sintra visiting the Pena Palace (and Park), the Moorish Castle and Quinta da Regaleira. Our guide Miquel Alves was topclass in providing exciting insights into the history of the buildings and the various historical developments. his knowledge was truly impressive. He also cleverly managed to avoid the long queues through good timing and managing time spent along the way. A wonderful experience all around.
