- Cabo da Roca - Cabo da Roca or Cape Roca is a cape which forms the westernmost point of the Sintra Mountain Range, of mainland Portugal, of continental Europe, and of the Eurasian landmass. It is situated in the municipality of Sintra, near Azóia, in the southwest of the district of Lisbon. Notably the point includes a lighthouse that started operation in 1772.
- Guincho Beach - Lying at the foot of the Sintra hills and facing the Atlantic, this superb beach is not only ideal for wind surfing but also board surfing due to the large breakers.
- Cascais - Cascais is the premier holiday destination of the Lisbon coastline. This is a traditional and charming Portuguese fishing town, which has responsibly developed into a popular resort town. Historically, Cascais was the summer retreat of the Portuguese nobility, and today the town is an elegant fusion of its illustrious heritage, with the expectations of the modern tourist. Found within the cobbled streets of the historic centre are lavish villas, an imposing fort, fascinating museums, along with lively bars and restaurants which give Cascais its buzzing holiday atmosphere. Cascais boasts so many interesting sights and attractions, that it is regarded as one of the best day trips from Lisbon.

Excellent service. Spectacular visits! - Erich our tour guide took us on the perfect half day tour. He arrive promptly to pick us up at our hotel in a very comfortable private car. On the drive to Sintra, he gave us a fascinating history lesson. During our visit we got up close to many of the castles, even taking time to tour fully one of them. Then we took a panoramic drive to the coast town of Cascais. We pulled over several times to take in the spectacular scenery before arriving to the seaside town. Our guide made a recommendation for some fantastic shopping and terrific lunch. A few hours later, he whisked us back to the hotel. If you want a terrific half day tour, this is the way to go!
