• Tunturitie 2 - Experience the thrill of snowmobiling as you traverse frozen lakes, expansive swamps, and picturesque snowy forests. This tour offers plenty of photo opportunities, and your guide will treat you to some delicious hot berry juice along the way.

The driving time is roughly 1 hour and 40 - 50 minutes, with the distance covered depending on the group’s driving skills. Two adults can share one snowmobile, with the option for single riding available at an extra cost. Children aged 4 - 14 will ride in a sleigh pulled by the guide’s snowmobile when the child price is paid. Children taller than 140 cm can ride on a snowmobile if the adult price is paid for the tour.

Snowmobile drivers must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid B driver’s license. Those planning to drive must bring their driving license on the tour, as Finnish traffic regulations do not accept copies or photographs of the license. Failure to bring your driving license will result in being unable to drive, and no refund will be provided.

• Meeting time: 30 minutes before the start of your safari. Please be on time, as refunds will not be issued for late arrivals or no shows.
• The driver of a snowmobile must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid B driver’s license. Customers intending to drive a snowmobile must bring their driving license with them on the tour. According to Finnish traffic regulations, a copy or a photograph of the driving license cannot be accepted. If you do not bring your driving license you won’t be able to drive and no refund can be offered.

• Children 4 - 14yrs paying the child price are entitled to a space in the sledge pulled by the guide’s snowmobile. Children over 140cm may ride as a passenger on the snowmobile, when paying the adult price. Children 7 years and under should be accompanied by an adult in the sleigh. Please note, that we do not recommend snowmobile safaris for children under 4 years for their own comfort and safety.
• Snowmobile tours are not suitable for pregnant women due to vibrations as a result of uneven tracks, and the presence of exhaust fumes of the snowmobiles.
• All snowmobiles used on tours are insured as required by Finnish law. The self liability amount for damage caused to the snowmobile is a flat rate of 900€. By purchasing an additional self liability waiver for 20€/driver you can reduce the self liability flat rate to 150€/driver/accident case.
• Wild Nordic reserves the right to change the route and duration of all excursions due to the prevailing weather and snow conditions or in consideration of the safety and comfort of the participants. Wild Nordic reserves the right to discontinue the tour if a participant is seen as a potential danger to him/herself or to others or is in poor health. Pre-paid safaris will not be refunded in such cases.
