• Sistelo - On this hike, we’ll explore the historic center of Sistelo, recognized as one of Portugal’s seven wonders, and delve into its rich history and culture. Known as the ‘mini Tibet’ of Portugal, Sistelo offers stunning cobblestone paths, lush green trails, and breathtaking views. As we trek through the mountains, we’ll discover traditional farming practices, ancient shepherd shelters, and local wildlife.

Participants should be prepared for high altitudes and rugged mountain terrain. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, and other necessary gear.

During this hike we will see the historic centre of Sistelo, one of the seven wonders of Portugal, learn about its history and culture. This ‘mini TIbet’ of Portugal is a sight to see, with its cobblestone paths, green pathways and amazing views. Walking through the mountain side we will be able to see and learn about the traditional agriculture, ancient shepherd shelters and local wildlife.
